Andrew,

is this a nintendo problem or a gamestop problem?

Careful with that Andrew. I dropped mine once, and the hinge cracked off. I had to glue it (it was one of first Lite's), and while functional I wish I had been more cautious.

Course, I've gotten alot out of it. I've been playing Harvest Moon (a farm sim) until my hand cramps.

Zach,
Since the Demo disk came from Nintendo, I assume it's their problem...

Oddly, wikipedia doesn't list the game I was playing as being a Paper Mario game. Indeed, I can't seem to find it at all. Which is _weird_...

Yeah it seems weird, some of the Wii games how they seem to still want to act like traditional controller games. Which I'm fine with, as long as they actually suggest using a classic controller. Otherwise it just feels odd. At least on the ones I've used so far.

The new Paper Mario game was developed for the Gamecube and ported to the Wii, hence why its controls are such as they are. There is a minimal amount of Wii-ability in it, but I forget what.

Can we say the result is "un-wii," not unlike ennui? :-)
