Build Me An Army
GETTING STARTED WITH
LEGIONS OF MIDDLE-EARTH

You've collected enough miniatures to field an entire army, but you're unsure of what to do next. Check out this article on how to get started with your full Legion.

Legions of Middle-earth Expansion

The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game is often played using narrative scenarios to re-create scenes from the book and films. While this is okay, many people also like to collect a particular army of Citadel miniatures and battle head-to-head against other armies.

Legions of Middle-earth, alongside the main rules manual, allows players to forge their collections into battlefield forces. This expansion gives you army lists that tell you which Heroes and Warriors can be fielded together to create a themed and balanced force. There are over 40 themed army lists to choose from in the expansion, each with its own flavour and unique options.

This expansion also includes rules for allies that offers players flexibility while still respecting the book and the films. Allies also provide a means to get the most out of your miniatures collection on the battlefield. In short, almost any combination of models can be assembled into a force suitable for head-to-head gaming.

Legions of Middle-earth is perfect for players who want to immerse themselves in the struggle of JRR Tolkien's legendary tale; The Lord of The Rings. Interested? Read on to discover how to get started using Legions of Middle-earth.
