Sun 24 June - 1.30pm- 4.30pm - Butterfly Walk in Lydford Forest with the Forestry Commission. A Sunday stroll around this beautiful wooded valley to search for Fritillary butterflies and other interesting insects. We include a walk around the butterfly reserve to learn about how we are successfully managing this Forest to encourage the rare Heath Fritillary. Ages: 8+ years. Wednesday 27th June - 1pm - Project to Renovate the Ancient Spring There is a site meeting with Paul Glanville and Tony Halse from the DNPA on Wednesday 27 th June at 1pm, which all interested parties are welcome to attend.
Please note that the Definitive Map Survey is a request from Devon County Council and is completely independent of the Ancient Spring Project. A copy of the Devon County Council letter, along with the map, can be seen on the Parish Notice Board.
