Power
House
Science is everywhere! A
centerpiece in our move toward our new mission, this
exhibit illustrates how much fun is involved in science!
Experience the power to change the world! Observe
energy and discover invisible forces. Be inspired
by old and new technologies, like the science of Silly
Putty, an accidental invention created right here at
GE, and the science behind nanotechnology and the man-made
diamond. This exhibit illustrates the huge impact
science has on our everyday lives.
Interactives everywhere! Experiment
with science principles at play in everyday life with
NEW hands-on, brains-on interactives like the Invisible
Man, the Battle of the Giant Magnets, and the Bridge
of Fire.

Fueling the Future
Worldwide, the number of automobiles
continues to increase. How will we fuel them? Explore
opportunities and challenges of different fuels, including
gasoline, ethanol, hydrogen, biodiesel, electricity,
and yes, even horsepower!
See how different fuels affect the
economy and the environment, with interactives, images,
video, and artifacts from our collection, including
a one-of-a-kind prototype electric car developed
by GE in 1978.

everyday consumer products that use SI Group products,
interactive quizzes about chemistry, and a laboratory
space where Museum educators and chemists from
the community will be able to conduct hands-on
demonstrations.
This exhibit is made possible by
SI Group.
