You have discovered BAMF! an expansive Nightcrawler fansite as well as the only TFL.org listed Fanlisting for Marvel Comic's fuzzy blue character Kurt Wagner!
Here you can find all sorts of Kurty goodness, from images to icons, and forums to fanfiction! Be sure to check out the huge Q&A; for lots of great info on Nightcrawler.
I updated the members list on August 17, 2007,
bringing the total fans listed up to 1121 (+

Just a quick note to let you know that all new forum members must now be approved by the admin before their accounts will become active. I’ve had quite a bit of trouble with spam in the forums.
If you’re a new forum member (note that this is seperate from your Fanlisting membership), just drop me an email at sweet@bluecherrydoughnut.com and let me know the user name you’vesigned up with. I’ll then activate your account. Kind of a pain, I know, but so is five tons of spam every day!
Entertainment Earth describes the statue like this:
“BAMF! (*That’s the teleporting sound.) This Nightcrawler statue is the fifth release in the “Dark Phoenix Saga” line. It can be displayed individually or combined with others from the classic storyline. It’s a limited edition of 3,000 pieces and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Trapped in a tragic confrontation with the entity known as the Dark Phoenix, Nightcrawler, and the X-Men are forced to choose between the woman they love and the safety of all existence.”
It retails for around $85.00, and links up with the other statues in this series to make one cool set.
Comic Candy, the hugemoungous comic book image gallery and news site that I run (and also the site I upload all the images and other things found on this site to), has gotten into trouble this month for being a big pig.
It used too many resources for the hosting plan I was on and had to be moved to a semi-dedicated server (which has put me into a bit of sticker shock…). So, as much as I hate begging for money via the internet, I will in order to keep my various sites online. If you enjoy any of my sites, please consider a donation by paypal to them, no amount is too small, and every donation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance, and hopefully no one is too offended by my fundraising efforts.
A very, very sad time for all X-Men fans - Dave Cockrum, the man who created Nightcrawler, passed away on Sunday from diabetes and the complications that go along with the disease. He was 63.
Those wishing to send messages to Paty Cockrum (Dave’s wife) are asked to e-mail them to: magnetorampant@yahoo.com.
by Wordpress. I have decided to use Wordpress to help me add updates and news to my collective of Fanlistings. I looked at various other scripts and none of them seemed to work as well as a bit of creative WP useage, comments are activated for all news stories too.
Hopefully this will make it quicker & easier on me to add new updates, news, press releases, etc.
A search feature has been added to the Q&A on this site, it makes finding things from previous questions much easier and faster (not to mention I no longer have to re-answer the same question 27 times *wink wink*).
The Nightcrawler Fanlisting reached 1,000 members today!
A big thank you to everyone who has added their name and shown their support of this awesome X-Man!
Yes, the site is a total mess. Several databases were lost during a recent host move, and since most of this site is database driven, half of BAMF! simply vanished.
I’ve been working today to restore everything to its former glory, but the gallery and the forums were lost & had to start all over again.
I’ve added commenting to the updates, which will probably just open them up for spam, but, hey, someone might comment someday, right?
I have also decided to remove the script controlling the quote display and submission. The old quotes are still viewable, but any new quote submissions must now be emailed to me
I have removed the Fan-Fiction section, as it was never used, and the script had some bugs anyway. All fiction should continue to simply be posted in the provided forum.
A fellow Nightcrawler fan recently sent me a BAMF! sound file he had taken from the X2 movie. Click here to listen. I must insist that you do not hotlink to this file!
Nightcrawler, though not in the X3 movie, will be making an appearance in the newest X-Men game, a prequel to X3: The Last Stand. The game is rumored to explain his absence in the film, and I’ve even read that each platform gives a different reason for it (I’m not too sure of the truth of this though). So, even with no Nighty in X3, fans can still get their fix!
