The
FitStik Pro is the best FitStik we've ever made. It combines
back-of-the-van durability with superb accuracy and hand-crafted
beauty. Each is built-to-order. The Pro's Main stick is made of beautiful hardwood - a full 3/8" thick for strength and stiffness This new wooden main is stiffer than the fiberglass stick it replaces. Then we give it three coats of an industrial-strength scratch and chemical-resistant finish. It looks like furniture and will work great for years to come. The PRO also incorporates our new pinned crossbar design. The dial-pointer is precisely machined out of unbreakable polycarbonate, then glued and pinned to a solid maple crossbar. It's accurate and rugged. The PRO's horizontal ruler is coupled to the crossbar with our new injection-molded alignment clamp. Together they're lighter, stiffer, more durable and more stable that any other design we've ever built. The result is excellent accuracy, measurement repeatability, and long-term performance. Finally, because we're once again building each and every FitStik by hand, the fit and finish is the best ever; every Pro is individually assembled and tested for accuracy and fit before packing to assure maximum performance.
