About Academic Gown Hire

The QUT Student Guild Academic Dress Hire Service provides academic regalia for all Queensland University of Technology graduations. We are also proud to provide our services to the Australian Catholic University and a number of Institutes of TAFE for their formal ceremonies.

If you are attending a QUT graduation, please follow the instructions sent to you by the QUT Ceremonies Department. You are AUTOMATICALLY BOOKED FOR YOUR ACADEMIC DRESS HIRE when you send your response slip back to the University to confirm your attendance. You do not need to contact the QUT Student Guild Academic Dress Hire Office to book your gown.

If you are a QUT graduate who is not attending a QUT graduation ceremony but would like to hire academic regalia for photographic purposes or other private event, please contact the Academic Dress Co-ordinator to make an appointment.
