 Clothes Off Our Back Foundation®
The Clothes Off Our Back Foundation® was founded by actors and philanthropists Jane Kaczmarek and Bradley Whitford following the 2001 Primetime Emmy® Awards. Postponed twice in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks and then held as a more somber affair, many celebrities never wore their elaborate dresses and tuxedos.

Knowing that once a celebrity wears a designer outfit on the red carpet, it is not worn again, Kaczmarek and Whitford gathered clothes from their television-industry colleagues and auctioned them off for charity.

Thus, Clothes Off Our Back was born. Five years later, the organization has raised over two million dollars for children's charities, including America's Second Harvest, The Art of Elysium, World Education and autism research.

The Sixth Annual Primetime Emmy® auction will start on Sunday, September 16. You can log onto http:/www.clothesoffourback.org/ to bid on gowns, tuxedos, sunglasses, shoes, celebrity decorated items, costumes from your favorite television shows, and other Hollywood-related items.
