The struggle between the Supreme Court faction and that of the Supreme Court critics has been going on for a long time. It is based on a legitimate struggle; it is good for an activist court to have its prosecutors as well as its defense attorneys. It is good that there are those who wish to raise the court's status, defend its supremacy and expand its area of jurisdiction; and it is good that there are those who wish to restrain it, criticize it and restrict its jurisdiction.

Israeli technology enables this extraordinary project: IAEA-United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency, preventing the proliferation of nuclear weapons is just one of its tasks. The organization also engages in helping countries use atomic know-how and technology for peaceful purposes. In this project, guided and funded by the IAEA, scientists, politicians and officials from Israel, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority - and perhaps in the near future their colleagues from Syria as well - have come together quietly to wage biological war on the Mediterranean fruit fly.
