Defender Stephen Warnock is looking forward to producing the goods for Blackburn next season having been overlooked for England duty.
With Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole ruled out by injury, Reading's Nicky Shorey was handed his debut in the 1-1 draw with Brazil at Wembley on Friday although Wayne Bridge returned for the 3-0 win in Estonia.
Warnock told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Obviously they had the B squad and I was overlooked for that so I'm just focused on doing well for Blackburn next season. If that's not good enough then so be it. There's nothing I can do about it.
"As long as the manager here is happy with me, that's all that matters. So hopefully I can come back after the summer and play well for Blackburn."
