Take Heart, Little Ones...

It was the funeral yesterday. I couldn't make it, but from the press reports it looked like there were a lot of fans there to see Jamie off for the final time.

I'll be putting up some pictures tomorrow. Mainly the crowd and the funeral cars and stuff, but I've got a couple of the service.

Right now I just wanna curl up in a comfy chair and have a good long think about things. Big hugs.

  Funeral Details

Just heard that funeral is tomorrow at St Steven's Parish church in Sevenoaks at 3pm. Apparently it's just for close friends and family, but fans will be allowed to go to the grave afterwards and pay their respects.

It's only right, and you know Jamie would've approved. Will put up a full report in a couple of days.

  Jamie Comes Home

According to the Dutch press they're bringing Jamie home today. All the post-mortem things have been done, and his body has been released to his family to bring back here.

It looks like the funeral is gonna be in Kent, but I haven't found out exactly where or when yet. Will post more details when I get them.

Thanks to everyone who signed the Book of Condolence over the past couple of days. Everyone seems to be feeling exactly the same way. It's just not fair! Jamie was the only singer worth bothering with, all the others are fake and stupid and crap. His music will live on forever, no-one could ever take his place.

I can't believe I'm writing this. It's like the worst dream you could ever have. We've all seen the news stories by now. I spent most of the night in front of the TV with my fingers crossed for Jamie, just praying that he wasn't on that helicopter. But sadly it doesn't look like anybody was listening.

The body they dragged out of the wreckage has been identified as Jamie. The Dutch police confirmed it this morning. It's taken me an hour to pull myself together and switch this PC on, and my fingers keep slipping over the keys. He's gone. He's really gone.

  OH MY GOD!

OK, OK. Trying not to panic here. There's been loads of news reports about Jamie being in a helicopter crash off the coast of Holland. They're saying it hit the North Sea and that Jamie is missing.

At first it seemed like a nasty hoax or something, cos I didn't even know Jamie was going abroad. But it was just on the BBC that he's dead. What was he doing in a helicopter? What's going on? Anyone with any news, let me know, PLEASE!
