Restriction on Smoking (Public Transport) (Jersey) Regulations 1982

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 1 of the Restriction on Smoking (Jersey) Law 1973,[1] have made the following Regulations –

1      Prohibition of smoking in public transport[2]

(1)    Smoking is prohibited in public transport.

(2)    For the purpose of this Regulation, “public transport” means the classes of public service vehicles as defined in Article 5(1) of the Motor Traffic (Jersey) Law 1935.[3]

2      Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Restriction on Smoking (Public Transport) (Jersey) Regulations 1982.
