This page describes the STP12 Goodies package and gives pointers to its ftp site and on-line documentation.
About the STP12 Goodies

These goodies are a collections of extensions and new applications for the Squeak 2.7 development environment.
They are available for free in their full source code. Source archive files are available as a
Zip file. Full pre-built virtual images are also in the FTP site.
The main features are:
- LauncherView -- Transcript view with buttons to start the most common applications (see the image below)
- PackageBrowser -- Traditional Six-paned Browser (i.e., the class categories are split into a 2-level hierarchy)
- OutlineBrowser -- A hierarchical text workspace view (useful for on-line documents)
- TimeProfileBrowser -- A MessageSet view of a MessageTally time profile
Other highlights:
- DisplayLists -- lightweight structured graphics framework with MVC display-list editing tools
- HTML reference manuals -- Utilities methods for HTML output of class "reference manuals"
- Desktop GIFs -- tiled GIF files for the desktop (see the images above)
- Values -- a dynamic value framework
- Graphics containers -- a graphics container (wrapper) framework
- Hans-Martin's 3D Graphics -- 3D line models and transformations
- Auto-generation of instVar accessors -- class "publish" method
- Dependency extensions -- update:with:from:
- Random additions -- collection atRandom, Random from:to:, etc.
- String line-wrapping, padding, clipping, etc.
- Browse-instance -- inspect "someInstance" from within the browser
- Red comments -- allows you to make comments stand out (pick your favorite color or emphasis).
- Many other extensions to the Squeak Smalltalk class library (RTFM)
