Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Robby Gordon have confirmed their participation in next month's inaugural NASCAR Busch Series race in Montreal.

"I'm really looking forward to racing on this historic road course," said Harvick, the reigning Busch Series champion. "I've seen video from the test session last month and there will definitely be some challenging areas for us drivers, but it should produce a great show for fans!"

Burton is 24 time winner in the Busch Series and says he's excited to be racing in a city with so much racing heritage.

"I'm especially excited to be racing in front of our legions of Canadian NASCAR fans.  I always see the Canadian flag at our events in the US, and I'm eager to bring the show to their home soil."

Gordon is an accomplished road racer and former winner in the Busch Series.

"Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is one of the most challenging and demanding road courses in the world. This race will test the skills of all the drivers, and I'm looking forward to the challenge."

Max Papis, a former Rolex 24 at Daytona champion and open-wheel racer, also confirmed his participation in the race, which takes place August 4.

"The growing field of drivers continues to brim with world-class talent," said
Martin Spalding, general manager of Stock-Car Montreal. "I'm looking forward to these competitors dueling with each other on the tight turns and long straight-aways that make this course so special."

Several Canadian drivers are also expected to be in the lineup as well, including former Champ Car driver Patrick Carpentier, who is expected to confirm his participation next week.

Road racing specialist Ron Fellows as well as NASCAR Canadian Tire Series regulars D.J. Kennington and J.R. Fitzpatrick are also expected to compete.
