British punk-rock icons The Sex Pistols will play a private club show in West Hollywood, CA, next month before the legendary rabble-rousers launch a brief UK tour.

LA radio station Indie 103.1 will sponsor the private Oct. 25 gig at The Roxy, in conjunction with wireless carrier Helio and the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, for which the band recently re-recorded its seminal 1977 single "Anarchy in the UK," 30 years after it first appeared on the band's only studio album, "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols."

Fans hoping to see the Sex Pistols can win tickets to the show by tuning to Indie 103.1 or visiting the station's website.

Both the LA show and the upcoming UK gigs coincide with the 30th anniversary of "Bollocks." The band is reissuing the album and its four singles--"Anarchy," "Holidays in the Sun," "Pretty Vacant" and "God Save the Queen"--on vinyl and in their exact original formats, with the "Bollocks" reissue including the same poster and 7" "Submission" single that the original contained. The first of the reissues will come with the Oct. 1 release of "Anarchy in the UK."

The band re-recorded "Anarchy" for Guitar Hero III's developers when the original multi-track masters of the song couldn't be located, according to a press release. The group worked with original producer Chris Thomas to record the track on the original analog sound desk, circa 1969, that was built for George Martin at Air Studios in London.

The Sex Pistols are touring with their original lineup: singer John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten), guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock, who was replaced by the late Sid Vicious in the band's most infamous incarnation.
