Known as one of the powerhouse players of the Selmon Trio from Eufala, Oklahoma, Lee Roy Selmon was a consensus All-American, All Big Eight and Academic All Big 8 football star at the University of Oklahoma.
Lee Roy and his brothers Dewey and Lucious contributed to the winning football tradition at OU from 1971-1975. The Sooners brought home three Big Eight Championships and two national titles during the age of the Selmon brothers.
