1. D'Lo Brown defeated Bobby Blaze in a tournament final to win the title.
2. The title was vacated and become inactive on June 1996.
3. Race Steele defeated Chip Fairway in a tournament final to win the title.
4. Chad Collyer was stripped of the title on Ferbuary 27, 2001.
5. Shark Boy won a battle royal to win the vacant title, eliminating Dean Jablonski and Matt Stryker.
6. Title held up after match between Race Steele and Mark Jindrak on September 30, 2001 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
7. E.Z. Money defeated D'Lo Brown in a tournament final to win the title.
8. Charlie "R.C." Haas pinned Val Venis in a six man tag team "all titles on the line" match involving Haas, Venis, Steve Bradley, The Island Boys and EZ Money. The rules stated that if any member of the champions were pinned, titles would switch hands accordingly.
9. Charlie "R.C." Haas was stripped of the HWA title due to a contract loophole and E.Z. Money is back as champion.
10. Chad Collyer won a Royal Rumble-style match, eliminating Cody Hawk and Chet Jablonski to win the title.
11.   The HWA Executive Committee reversed the decision due to absence of contract in the HWA Heavyweight Title match on July 20, 2004.
12. Title vacated on January 2006. Pepper Parks defeated Jon Moxley to win the vacated title.
13. Title was vacated on December 5, 2006.
14.  Jon Moxley defeated Matt Stryker, JT Stahr and Brian Jennings to win the vacant title.

10. The Riggs Brothers (Johnny and Jason) won a tournament to win the tag team titles.
11. Won the tag team titles in a ladder match.
12. The tag team titles were later vacated.
13. Won Titles In The Luck Of The Draw Tag Team Tournament by beating Quinten Lee and Jimmy Turner in the finals.
14. Brian Jennings and Benjamin Kimera defeated Matt Stryker in a Handi-Cap match when Tack was unable to appear.
15. Jake Crist and Dave Crist defeated Ala Hussein and Quinten Lee, Aaron Williams and Alan Wasylychyn, Jesse Hyde and Pompano Joe, Andre Heart and Deja Vu and Ed Gonzales and Super Zeta in a Gauntlet Match to win the titles.
