Sony Gulf announced that Jumbo Electronics and Carrefour stores in Mall of the Emirates will re-open their doors at midnight tonight to sell the first PlayStation®3 in the UAE.

As an added incentive the first 100 customers who buy a PlayStation 3 will be also rewarded with a pair of tickets to see Shakira live in concert at the Dubai Autodrome this Friday (part of her Oral Fixation Tour).

Tim Stokes, Sales & Marketing Director, PlayStation Division, Sony Gulf FZE commented:

“We are very happy to be offering the first 100 PlayStation 3 owners in the UAE a pair of Shakira tickets free of charge. It’s a deal that’s not to be missed, our customers will be getting the latest home entertainment system and also tickets for the concert that everyone in the Middle East is talking about. It is a fantastic way to celebrate the arrival of PlayStation 3 in the UAE and we are happy to be working with Jumbo Electronics and Carrefour to make this happen.”

PlayStation 3 officially launches in the UAE at midnight tonight and will cost 2499 DHS – get queuing!
