First let me say, I am NOT a "Mormon" in any way, shape, or form any more then I am a "Christian" for the same reasons...those being, that those that are , theologically, historically and scripturally connected to those words, are in fact "Blasphemous Frauds" used by the powers of Darkness to destroy and discredit the Words, Life, and Gospel of Jesus Christ here on earth. And the "Architect" of this deception is the one and only "Father of Lies" Lucifer/Satan, he who initiated this rebellion first in Heaven and has carried it out here on earth.

The Scripture Quotes Come From The "Anti-Mormon Doctrine" Book of Mormon, the "anti-Christian" Inspired Version of the Bible, and the Doctrine and Covenants, NONE of which contain what is called "Mormon doctrine".

 "Mormonism" is a by-product of a "son of perdition" and murderer named Brigham Young, NOT Joseph Smith. In fact, it is my personal belief that Young was the one who murdered Smith so as to implement his Satanic inspired teachings known as "Mormonism".

The scriptures quoted below, expose the Latter Day corruption in "Christian churches" ie. "

Christianity", the Great and Abominable church i.e. Catholic Church, the "secret combinations of darkness who have the devil/Satan as their founder" i.e. Free Masonry and New Age Movement and also document the the Everlasting Decree of God concerning America which states that ONLY Jesus Christ is to be worshipped on this land and if not, if SIN overtakes this land including and especially the "Secret Combinations of Darkness"...of SATAN, then their will be a cleansing and judgment as pronounced by Jesus Christ himself!!

Native Americans are PROOF of the fact that what is recorded in the history of their treatment at the hands of the above, that this nation does NOT represent the Creator and that Jesus does not and will not align Himself with those that use His name to commit murder and genocide against His people who He Himself came to on this land!

They represent Him, are His people, and the sins of the White Gentiles against Him and them, ARE the REASON why this JUDGMENT and CLEANSING of this land is nigh at hand as confirmed both in scripture and prophesy, Native American included!

[Genesis 13:11] But the men of Sodom becoming sinners, and exceedingly wicked before the Lord, the Lord was angry with them.

[Genesis 19:24] Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

[Genesis 19:25] And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

[Ether 1:29] And the Lord would not suffer that they should stop beyond the sea in the wilderness, but he would that they should come forth even unto the land of promise, which was choice above all other lands, which the Lord God had preserved for a righteous people;

[Ether 1:30] And he had sworn in his wrath unto the Brother of Jared, that whoso should possess this land of promise, from that time henceforth and forever, should serve him, the true and only God, or they should be swept off when the fullness of his wrath should come upon them.

[Ether 1:31] And now we can behold the decrees of God concerning this land, that it is a land of promise, and whatsoever nation shall possess it, shall serve God, or they shall be swept off when the fullness of his wrath shall come upon them.

[Ether 1:32] And the fullness of his wrath cometh upon them when they are ripened in iniquity; for behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God, or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God.

[Ether 1:33] And it is not until the fullness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.

[Ether 1:34] And this cometh unto you, O ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God, that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fullness come, that ye may not bring down the fullness of the wrath of God upon you, as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.

[Ether 1:35] Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it, shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ who hath been manifested by the things which we have written.

INVASION AND DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA (SEE TOM BEEM'S VISION)

Isaiah 13:4] The noise of the multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together; the Lord of hosts mustereth the hosts of the battle.

[Isaiah 13:5] They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, yea, the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

[Isaiah 13:6] Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

[Isaiah 13:7] Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt;

[Isaiah 13:8] And they shall be afraid; pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth; they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

[Isaiah 13:9] Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isaiah 13:10] For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

[Isaiah 13:11] And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

[Isaiah 13:12] I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

[Isaiah 13:13] Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

[Isaiah 13:14] And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up; they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee everyone into his own land.

[Isaiah 13:15] Everyone that is proud shall be thrust through; and everyone that is joined to the wicked shall fall by the sword.

[Isaiah 13:16] Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

[Isaiah 13:17] Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

[Isaiah 13:18] Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

[Isaiah 13:19] And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

[3 Nephi 9:98] Therefore it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not believe in my words, who am Jesus Christ, whom the Father shall cause him to bring forth unto the Gentiles, and shall give unto him power that he shall bring them forth unto the Gentiles, (it shall be done even as Moses said,) they shall be cut off from among my people who are of the covenant;

[3 Nephi 9:99] And my people who are a remnant of Jacob, shall be among the Gentiles, yea, in the midst of them, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he go through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

[3 Nephi 9:100] Their hand shall be lifted up upon their adversaries, and all their enemies shall be cut off.

[3 Nephi 9:101] Yea, wo be unto the Gentiles, except they repent, for it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Father, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots, and I will cut off the cities of thy land and throw down all thy strongholds;

[3 Nephi 9:102] And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thy hand, and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

[3 Nephi 9:103] Thy graven images I will also cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the works of thy hands;

[3 Nephi 9:104] And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee; so will I destroy thy cities.

[3 Nephi 9:105] And it shall come to pass that all lyings, and deceivings, and envyings, and strifes, and priestcrafts and whoredoms, shall be done away.

[3 Nephi 9:106] For it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that at that day, whosoever will not repent and come unto my beloved Son, them will I cut off from among my people, O house of Israel, and I will execute vengeance and fury upon them, even as upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

SCRIPTURES POINTING OUT "APOSTASY", GREAT ABOMINABLE CHURCH IE. CATHOLIC AND PROTESTANT OFFSPRING OF

[2 Nephi 11:90] And the Gentiles are lifted up in the pride of their eyes, and have stumbled, because of the greatness of their stumbling block, that they have built up many churches;

[2 Nephi 11:91] Nevertheless they put down the power and the miracles of God, and preach up unto themselves, their own wisdom, and their own learning, that they may get gain, and grind upon the face of the poor;

[2 Nephi 11:92] And there are many churches built up which cause envyings, and strifes, and malice;

[2 Nephi 11:93] And there are also secret combinations, even as in times of old, according to the combinations of the devil, for he is the foundation of all these things; yea, the foundation of murder, and works of darkness; THIS IS FREE MASONRY TODAY

[2 Nephi 11:94] Yea, and he leadeth them by the neck with a flaxen cord, until he bindeth them with his strong cords for ever.

[2 Nephi 11:95] For behold, my beloved brethren, I say unto you, that the Lord God worketh not in darkness.

[2 Nephi 11:96] He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life, that he may draw all men unto him.

[2 Nephi 11:102] Hath he commanded any that they should not partake of his salvation?

[2 Nephi 11:103] Behold, I say unto you, Nay; but he hath given it free for all men; and he hath commanded his people that they should persuade all men to repentance.

[2 Nephi 11:104] Behold, hath the Lord commanded any that they should not partake of his goodness?

[2 Nephi 11:105] Behold, I say unto you, Nay; but all men are privileged the one like unto the other, and none are forbidden.

[2 Nephi 11:106] He commandeth that there shall be no priestcrafts; for, behold, priestcrafts are that men preach and set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain, and praise of the world; but they seek not the welfare of Zion.

[2 Nephi 11:107] Behold, the Lord hath forbidden this thing; wherefore, the Lord God hath given a commandment, that all men should have charity, which charity is love.

[2 Nephi 11:108] And except they should have charity, they were nothing: wherefore, if they should have charity, they would not suffer the laborer in Zion to perish.

[2 Nephi 11:109] But the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion; for if they labor for money, they shall perish.

[2 Nephi 11:110] And, again, the Lord God hath commanded that men should not murder; that they should not lie; that they should not steal; that they should not take the name of the Lord their God in vain; that they should not envy; that they should not have malice; that they should not contend one with another; that they should not commit whoredoms; and that they should do none of these things;

[2 Nephi 11:111] For whoso doeth them shall perish; for none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men;

[2 Nephi 11:112] And he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men;

[2 Nephi 11:113] And he inviteth them all to come unto him, and partake of his goodness;

[2 Nephi 11:114] And he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female;

[2 Nephi 11:115] And he remembereth the heathen, and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

[2 Nephi 11:116] But behold, in the last days, or in the days of the Gentiles; yea, behold all the nations of the Gentiles, and also the Jews, both those who shall come upon this land, and those who shall be upon other lands; yea, even upon all the lands of the earth; behold, they will be drunken with iniquity, and all manner of abominations;

[2 Nephi 11:117] And when that day shall come, they shall be visited of the Lord of hosts, with thunder and with earthquake, and with a great noise, and with storm and with tempest, and with the flame of devouring fire;

[2 Nephi 11:118] And all the nations that fight against Zion, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision;

[2 Nephi 11:119] Yea, it shall be unto them even as unto a hungry man, which dreameth, and behold he eateth, but he awaketh and his soul is empty;

[2 Nephi 11:120] Or like unto a thirsty man which dreameth, and behold he drinketh, but he awaketh, and behold he is faint, and his soul hath appetite:

[2 Nephi 11:121] Yea, even so shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against mount Zion:

[2 Nephi 11:122] For behold, all ye that do iniquity, stay yourselves and wonder; for ye shall cry out, and cry, yea, ye shall be drunken, but not with wine; ye shall stagger, but not with strong drink;

[2 Nephi 11:123] For behold, the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep.

[2 Nephi 11:124] For behold, ye have closed your eyes, and ye have rejected the prophets, and your rulers, and the seers hath he covered because of your iniquity.

[2 Nephi 11:125] And it shall come to pass, that the Lord God shall bring forth unto you the words of a book, and they shall be the words of them which have slumbered.

[2 Nephi 11:126] And behold the book shall be sealed: and in the book shall be a revelation from God, from the beginning of the world to the ending thereof.

[2 Nephi 11:127] Wherefore, because of the things which are sealed up, the things which are sealed, shall not be delivered in the day of the wickedness and abominations of the people.

[2 Nephi 11:128] Wherefore the book shall be kept from them.

[2 Nephi 11:129] But the book shall be delivered unto a man, and he shall deliver the words of the book, which are the words of those who have slumbered in the dust; and he shall deliver these words unto another; but the words which are sealed, he shall not deliver, neither shall he deliver the book.

[2 Nephi 11:130] For the book shall be sealed by the power of God, and the revelation which was sealed, shall be kept in the book until the own due time of the Lord, that they may come forth: for, behold, they reveal all things from the foundation of the world unto the end thereof.

[2 Nephi 11:131] And the day cometh that the words of the book which were sealed, shall be read upon the housetops; and they shall be read by the power of Christ;

[2 Nephi 11:132] And all things shall be revealed unto the children of men which ever have been among the children of men, and which ever will be, even unto the end of the earth.

[2 Nephi 12:1] And now, behold, my brethren, I have spoken unto you according as the Spirit hath constrained me; wherefore, I know that they must surely come to pass.

[2 Nephi 12:2] And the things which shall be written out of the book shall be of great worth unto the children of men, and especially unto our seed, which is a remnant of the house of Israel.

[2 Nephi 12:3] For it shall come to pass in that day, that the churches which are built up, and not unto the Lord, when the one shall say unto the other, Behold, I, I am the Lord's; and the other shall say, I, I am the Lord's.

[2 Nephi 12:4] And thus shall every one say, that hath built up churches, and not unto the Lord;

[2 Nephi 12:5] And they shall contend one with another; and their priests shall contend one with another; and they shall teach with their learning, and deny the Holy Ghost, which giveth utterance.

[2 Nephi 12:6] And they deny the power of God, the Holy One of Israel; and they say unto the people, Hearken unto us, and hear ye our precept;

[2 Nephi 12:7] For behold, there is no God to-day, for the Lord and the Redeemer hath done his work, and he hath given his power unto men.

[2 Nephi 12:8] Behold, hearken ye unto my precept: if they shall say there is a miracle wrought, by the hand of the Lord, believe it not; for this day he is not a God of miracles; he hath done his work.

[2 Nephi 12:9] Yea, and there shall be many which shall say, Eat, drink, and be merry, for to-morrow we die: and it shall be well with us.

[2 Nephi 12:10] And there shall also be many which shall say, Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God, he will justify in committing a little sin: yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this.

[2 Nephi 12:11] And do all these things, for to-morrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God.

[2 Nephi 12:12] Yea, and there shall be many which shall teach after this manner, false, and vain, and foolish doctrines, and shall be puffed up in their hearts, and shall seek deep to hide their counsels from the Lord; and their works shall be in the dark; and the blood of the saints shall cry from the ground against them.

[2 Nephi 12:13] Yea, they have all gone out of the way; they have become corrupted.

[2 Nephi 12:14] Because of pride, and because of false teachers, and false doctrine, their churches have become corrupted; and their churches are lifted up; because of pride, they are puffed up.

[2 Nephi 12:15] They rob the poor, because of their fine sanctuaries; they rob the poor, because of their fine clothing; and they persecute the meek, and the poor in heart; because in their pride, they are puffed up.

[2 Nephi 12:16] They wear stiff necks and high heads; yea, and because of pride, and wickedness, and abominations, and whoredoms, they have all gone astray, save it be a few, who are the humble followers of Christ;

[2 Nephi 12:17] Nevertheless, they are led, that in many instances they do err, because they are taught by the precepts of men.

[2 Nephi 12:18] O the wise, and the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts, and all those who preach false doctrines, and all those who commit whoredoms, and pervert the right way of the Lord; wo, wo, wo be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell.

[2 Nephi 12:19] Wo unto them that turn aside the just for a thing of nought, and revile against that which is good, and say that it is of no worth:

[2 Nephi 12:20] For the day shall come that the Lord God will speedily visit the inhabitants of the earth; and in that day that they are fully ripe in iniquity, they shall perish.

[2 Nephi 12:21] But behold, if the inhabitants of the earth shall repent of their wickedness and abominations, they shall not be destroyed, saith the Lord of hosts.

[2 Nephi 12:22] But behold, that great and abominable church, the whore of all the earth, must tumble to the earth; and great must be the fall thereof:

[2 Nephi 12:23] For the kingdom of the devil must shake, and they which belong to it must needs be stirred up unto repentance, or the devil will grasp them with his everlasting chains, and they be stirred up to anger and perish:

[2 Nephi 12:24] For behold, at that day shall he rage in the hearts of the children of men, and stir them up to anger against that which is good;

[2 Nephi 12:25] And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say, All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well;

[2 Nephi 12:26] And thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell.

[2 Nephi 12:27] And behold, others he flattereth away, and telleth them there is no hell; and he saith unto them, I am no devil, for there is none:

[2 Nephi 12:28] And thus he whispereth in their ears, until he grasps them with his awful chains, from whence there is no deliverance.

[2 Nephi 12:29] Yea, they are grasped with death and hell; and death, and hell, and the devil, and all that have been seized therewith, must stand before the throne of God and be judged according to their works, from whence they must go into the place prepared for them, even a lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.

[2 Nephi 12:30] Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion.

[2 Nephi 12:31] Wo be unto him that crieth, All is well; yea, wo be unto him that hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, and denieth the power of God, and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

[2 Nephi 12:32] Yea, wo be unto him that saith, We have received, and we need no more.

[2 Nephi 12:33] And in fine, wo unto all those who tremble, and are angry because of the truth of God.

[2 Nephi 12:34] For behold, he that is built upon the rock, receiveth it with gladness: and he that is built upon a sandy foundation, trembleth, lest he shall fall.

[2 Nephi 12:35] Wo be unto him that shall say, We have received the word of God, and we need no more of the word of God, for we have enough.

[2 Nephi 12:36] For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little:

[2 Nephi 12:37] And blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom;

[2 Nephi 12:38] For unto him that receiveth, I will give more: and from them that shall say, We have enough, shall be taken away even that which they have.

[2 Nephi 12:39] Cursed is he that putteth his trust in man, or maketh flesh his arm, or shall hearken unto the precepts of men, save their precepts shall be given by the power of the Holy Ghost.

[2 Nephi 12:40] Wo be unto the Gentiles, saith the Lord God of hosts; for notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me;

[2 Nephi 12:41] Nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of hosts.

[2 Nephi 12:42] But behold, there shall be many at that day, when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are the house of Israel;

[2 Nephi 12:43] And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed.

[2 Nephi 12:44] And my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel.

[2 Nephi 12:45] And because my words shall hiss forth, many of the Gentiles shall say, A bible, a bible, we have got a bible, and there can not be any more bible.

[2 Nephi 12:46] But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people.

[2 Nephi 12:47] And what thank they the Jews for the bible which they received from them?

[2 Nephi 12:48] Yea, what do the Gentiles mean?

[2 Nephi 12:49] Do they remember the travels, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?

[2 Nephi 12:50] O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people?

2 Nephi 12:51] Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them.

[2 Nephi 12:52] But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I, the Lord, hath not forgotten my people.

[2 Nephi 12:53] Thou fool, that shall say, A bible, we have got a bible, and we need no more bible.

[2 Nephi 12:54] Have ye obtained a bible save it were by the Jews?

[2 Nephi 12:55] Know ye not that there are more nations than one?

[2 Nephi 12:56] Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath;

[2 Nephi 12:57] And I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
[2 Nephi 12:58] Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word?

[2 Nephi 12:59] Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another?

[2 Nephi 12:60] Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another.

[2 Nephi 12:61] And when the two nations shall run together, the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

[2 Nephi 12:62] And I do this that I may prove unto many, that I am the same yesterday, to-day, and for ever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure.

[2 Nephi 12:63] And because that I have spoken one word, ye need not suppose that I can not speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be, until the end of man; neither from that time hence forth and for ever.

[2 Nephi 12:64] Wherefore, because that ye have a bible, ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written:

[2 Nephi 12:65] For I command all men, both in the east, and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them:

[2 Nephi 12:66] For out of the books which shall be written, I will judge the world, every man according to his works, according to that which is written.

[2 Nephi 12:67] For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews, and they shall write it:

[2 Nephi 12:68] And I shall also speak unto the Nephites, and they shall write it;

[2 Nephi 12:69] And I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it;

[2 Nephi 12:70] And I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth, and they shall write it.

[2 Nephi 12:71] And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews:

[2 Nephi 12:72] And the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews.

[2 Nephi 12:73] And it shall come to pass that my people which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one.

[2 Nephi 12:74] And I will shew unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham, that I would remember his seed for ever.

[2 Nephi 12:75] And now, behold, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you: for I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be.

[2 Nephi 12:76] For behold, except ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall all likewise perish; and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed.

[2 Nephi 12:77] For behold, I say unto you, That as many of the Gentiles as will repent, are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent, shall be cast off;

[2 Nephi 12:78] For the Lord covenanteth with none, save it be with them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel.

[2 Nephi 12:79] And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles.

[2 Nephi 12:80] For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed.

[2 Nephi 12:81] And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews.

[2 Nephi 12:82] And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers.

[2 Nephi 12:83] And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God;

[2 Nephi 12:84] And their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes: and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a white and a delightsome people.

[2 Nephi 12:85] And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered, also shall begin to believe in Christ: and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land;

[2 Nephi 12:86] And as many as shall believe in Christ, shall also become a delightsome people.

[2 Nephi 12:87] And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work, among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth.

[2 Nephi 12:88] And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity, for the meek of the earth.

[2 Nephi 12:89] And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked;

[2 Nephi 12:90] For the time speedily cometh, that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people; and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire.

[2 Nephi 12:91] And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

[2 Nephi 12:92] And then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together; and a little child shall lead them.

[2 Nephi 12:93] And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

[2 Nephi 12:94] And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den.

[2 Nephi 12:95] They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

[2 Nephi 12:96] Wherefore, the things of all nations shall be made known: yea, all things shall be made known unto the children of men.

[2 Nephi 12:97] There is nothing which is secret, save it shall be revealed; there is no work of darkness, save it shall be made manifest in the light; and there is nothing which is sealed upon the earth, save it shall be loosed.

[2 Nephi 12:98] Wherefore, all things which have been revealed unto the children of men, shall at that day be revealed;

[2 Nephi 12:99] And Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time.

[2 Nephi 12:100] And now my beloved brethren, I must make an end of my sayings.

[1 Nephi 3:137] And I said, I behold many nations and kingdoms.

[1 Nephi 3:138] And he said unto me, These are the nations and kingdoms of the Gentiles.

THE HOLY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS DESCRIBED HERE BELOW

[1 Nephi 3:139] And it came to pass that I saw among the nations of the Gentiles the foundation of a great church.

[1 Nephi 3:140] And the angel said unto me, Behold the foundation of a church, which is most abominable above all other churches, which slayeth the saints of God, yea, and tortureth them and bindeth them down, and yoketh them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity.

[1 Nephi 3:141] And it came to pass that I beheld this great and abominable church; and I saw the devil that he was the foundation of it.

[1 Nephi 3:142] And I also saw gold and silver, and silks, and scarlets, and fine twined linen, and all manner of precious clothing; and I saw many harlots.

[1 Nephi 3:143] And the angel spake unto me, saying, Behold the gold, and the silver, and the silks, and the scarlets, and the fine twined linen, and the precious clothing, and the harlots, are the desires of this great and abominable church;

[1 Nephi 3:144] And also for the praise of the world do they destroy the saints of God, and bring them down into captivity.

[1 Nephi 3:145] And it came to pass that I looked and beheld many waters; and they divided the Gentiles from the seed of my brethren.

[1 Nephi 3:146] And it came to pass that the angel said unto me, Behold the wrath of God is upon the seed of thy brethren!

[1 Nephi 3:147] And I looked and beheld a man among the Gentiles, who was separated from the seed of my brethren by the many waters; and I beheld the Spirit of God, that it came down and wrought upon the man; and he went forth upon the many waters, even unto the seed of my brethren, who were in the promised land.

[1 Nephi 3:148] And it came to pass that I beheld the Spirit of God, that it wrought upon other Gentiles; and they went forth out of captivity, upon the many waters.

[1 Nephi 3:149] And it came to pass that I beheld many multitudes of the Gentiles upon the land of promise;

[1 Nephi 3:150] And I beheld the wrath of God that it was upon the seed of my brethren; and they were scattered before the Gentiles, and were smitten.

[1 Nephi 3:151] And I beheld the Spirit of the Lord, that it was upon the Gentiles; that they did prosper, and obtain the land for their inheritance; and I beheld that they were white, and exceeding fair and beautiful, like unto my people before they were slain.

[1 Nephi 3:152] And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld that the Gentiles who had gone forth out of captivity did humble themselves before the Lord, and the power of the Lord was with them;

[1 Nephi 3:153] And I beheld that their mother Gentiles were gathered together upon the waters, and upon the land also, to battle against them;

[1 Nephi 3:154] And I beheld that the power of God was with them; and also that the wrath of God was upon all those that were gathered together against them to battle.

[1 Nephi 3:155] And I, Nephi, beheld that the Gentiles that had gone out of captivity were delivered by the power of God out of the hands of all other nations.

[1 Nephi 3:156] And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld that they did prosper in the land;

[1 Nephi 3:157] And I beheld a book, and it was carried forth among them.

[1 Nephi 3:158] And the angel said unto me, Knowest thou the meaning of the book?

[1 Nephi 3:159] And I said unto him, I know not.

[1 Nephi 3:160] And he said, Behold, it proceedeth out of the mouth of a Jew; and I, Nephi, beheld it;

[1 Nephi 3:161] And he said unto me, The book that thou beholdest is a record of the Jews, which contains the covenants of the Lord which he hath made unto the house of Israel;

[1 Nephi 3:162] And it also containeth many of the prophecies of the holy prophets;

[1 Nephi 3:163] And it is a record like unto the engravings which are upon the plates of brass, save there are not so many; nevertheless, they contain the covenants of the Lord which he hath made unto the house of Israel;

[1 Nephi 3:164] Wherefore, they are of great worth unto the Gentiles.

[1 Nephi 3:165] And the angel of the Lord said unto me, Thou hast beheld that the book proceeded forth from the mouth of a Jew; and when it proceeded forth from the mouth of a Jew it contained the plainness of the gospel of the Lord, of whom the twelve apostles bear record; and they bear record according to the truth which is in the Lamb of God:

[1 Nephi 3:166] Wherefore, these things go forth from the Jews in purity unto the Gentiles, according to the truth which is in God:

[1 Nephi 3:167] And after they go forth by the hand of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, from the Jews unto the Gentiles, thou seest the foundation of a great and abominable church, which is most abominable above all other churches;

[1 Nephi 3:168] For behold, they have taken away from the gospel of the Lamb many parts which are plain and most precious;

[1 Nephi 3:169] And also many covenants of the Lord have they taken away;

[1 Nephi 3:170] And all this have they done that they might pervert the right ways of the Lord; that they might blind the eyes and harden the hearts of the children of men:

[1 Nephi 3:171] Wherefore, thou seest that after the book hath gone forth through the hands of the great and abominable church that there are many plain and precious things taken away from the book, which is the book of the Lamb of God;

[1 Nephi 3:172] And after these plain and precious things were taken away, it goeth forth unto all the nations of the Gentiles:

[1 Nephi 3:173] And after it goeth forth unto all the nations of the Gentiles, yea, even across the many waters which thou hast seen, with the Gentiles which have gone forth out of captivity;

[1 Nephi 3:174] Thou seest because of the many plain and precious things which have been taken out of the book, which were plain unto the understanding of the children of men, according to the plainness which is in the Lamb of God;

[1 Nephi 3:175] Because of these things which are taken away out of the gospel of the Lamb, an exceeding great many do stumble, yea, insomuch that Satan hath great power over them;

[1 Nephi 3:176] Nevertheless thou beholdest that the Gentiles who have gone forth out of captivity, and have been lifted up by the power of God above all other nations upon the face of the land, which is choice above all other lands,

[1 Nephi 3:177] Which is the land that the Lord God hath covenanted with thy father that his seed should have for the land of their inheritance, will not utterly destroy the mixture of thy seed, which are among thy brethren;

[1 Nephi 3:178] Neither will he suffer that the Gentiles shall destroy the seed of thy brethren;

[1 Nephi 3:179] Neither will the Lord God suffer that the Gentiles shall for ever remain in that awful state of blindness, which thou beholdest they are in because of the plain and most precious parts of the gospel of the Lamb which have been kept back by that abominable church, whose formation thou hast seen.

[1 Nephi 3:180] Wherefore, saith the Lamb of God, I will be merciful unto the Gentiles, unto the visiting of the remnant of the house of Israel in great judgment.

[1 Nephi 3:181] And it came to pass that the angel of the Lord spake unto me, saying, Behold, saith the Lamb of God, after I have visited the remnant of the house of Israel, and this remnant of whom I speak is the seed of thy father;

[1 Nephi 3:182] Wherefore, after I have visited them in judgment, and smitten them by the hand of the Gentiles;

[1 Nephi 3:183] And after the Gentiles do stumble exceedingly because of the most plain and precious parts of the gospel of the Lamb which has been kept back, by that abominable church, which is the mother of harlots, saith the Lamb, I will be merciful unto the Gentiles in that day, insomuch that I will bring forth unto them in mine own power, much of my gospel, which shall be plain and precious, saith the Lamb;

[1 Nephi 3:184] For behold, saith the Lamb, I will manifest myself unto thy seed, that they shall write many things which I shall minister unto them, which shall be plain and precious;

[1 Nephi 3:185] And after thy seed shall be destroyed and dwindle in unbelief, and also the seed of thy brethren; behold, these things shall be hid up, to come forth unto the Gentiles by the gift and power of the Lamb;

[1 Nephi 3:186] And in them shall be written my gospel, saith the Lamb, and my rock and my salvation;

[1 Nephi 3:187] And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost;

[1 Nephi 3:188] And if they endure unto the end, they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb;

[1 Nephi 3:189] And whoso shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be.

[1 Nephi 3:190] And it came to pass that I beheld the remnant of the seed of my brethren, and also the book of the Lamb of God, which had proceeded forth from the mouth of the Jew, that it came forth from the Gentiles, unto the remnant of the seed of my brethren;

[1 Nephi 3:191] And after it had come forth unto them, I beheld other books which came forth by the power of the Lamb, from the Gentiles unto them, unto the convincing of the Gentiles, and the remnant of the seed of my brethren, and also the Jews, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth, that the records of the prophets and of the twelve apostles of the Lamb are true.

[1 Nephi 3:192] And the angel spake unto me, saying, These last records which thou hast seen among the Gentiles shall establish the truth of the first, which are of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, and shall make known the plain and precious things which have been taken away from them;

[1 Nephi 3:193] And shall make known to all kindreds, tongues and people, that the Lamb of God is the son of the Eternal Father, and the Savior of the world; and that all men must come unto him or they can not be saved;

[1 Nephi 3:194] And they must come according to the words which shall be established by the mouth of the Lamb;

[1 Nephi 3:195] And the words of the Lamb shall be made known in the records of thy seed, as well as in the records of the twelve apostles of the Lamb;

[1 Nephi 3:196] Wherefore, they both shall be established in one;

[1 Nephi 3:197] For there is one God and one Shepherd over all the earth;

[1 Nephi 3:198] And the time cometh that he shall manifest himself unto all nations, both unto the Jews, and also unto the Gentiles;

[1 Nephi 3:199] And after he has manifested himself unto the Jews and also unto the Gentiles; then he shall manifest himself unto the Gentiles, and also unto the Jews,

[1 Nephi 3:200] And the last shall be first, and the first shall be last.

[1 Nephi 3:201] And it shall come to pass, that if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling-blocks, and harden not their hearts against the Lamb of God, they shall be numbered among the seed of thy father;

[1 Nephi 3:202] Yea, they shall be numbered among the house of Israel;

[1 Nephi 3:203] And they shall be a blessed people upon the promised land for ever;

[1 Nephi 3:204] They shall be no more brought down into captivity;

[1 Nephi 3:205] And the house of Israel shall no more be confounded;

[1 Nephi 3:207] Yea, that great pit which hath been digged for the destruction of men, shall be filled by those who digged it, unto their utter destruction, saith the Lamb of God;

[1 Nephi 3:208] Not the destruction of the soul, save it be the casting of it into that hell which hath no end;

[1 Nephi 3:209] For behold, this is according to the captivity of the devil, and also according to the justice of God, upon all those who will work wickedness and abomination before him.

[1 Nephi 3:210] And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me, Nephi, saying, Thou hast beheld that if the Gentiles repent, it shall be well with them;

[1 Nephi 3:211] And thou also knowest concerning the covenants of the Lord unto the house of Israel;

[1 Nephi 3:212] And thou also hast heard, that whoso repenteth not, must perish;

[1 Nephi 3:213] Therefore, wo, be unto the Gentiles, if it so be that they harden their hearts against the Lamb of God;

[1 Nephi 3:214] For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men;

[1 Nephi 3:215] A work which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other;

[1 Nephi 3:216] Either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds, unto their being brought down into captivity and also unto destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken.

[1 Nephi 3:217] And it came to pass that when the angel had spoken these words, he said unto me, Remember thou the covenants of the Father unto the house of Israel?

[1 Nephi 3:218] I said unto him, Yea.

[1 Nephi 3:219] And it came to pass that he said unto me, Look and behold that great and abominable church, which is the mother of abominations, whose founder is the devil.

[1 Nephi 3:220] And he said unto me, Behold, there are save two churches only:

[1 Nephi 3:221] The one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil;

[1 Nephi 3:222] Wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations;

[1 Nephi 3:223] And she is the whore of all the earth.

[1 Nephi 3:224] And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the whore of all the earth, and she sat upon many waters;

[1 Nephi 3:225] And she had dominion over all the earth, among all nations, kindreds, tongues and people.

[1 Nephi 3:226] And it came to pass that I beheld the church of the Lamb of God, and its numbers were few, because of the wickedness and abominations of the whore who sat upon many waters;

[1 Nephi 3:227] Nevertheless, I beheld that the church of the Lamb, who were the saints of God, were also upon all the face of the earth;

[1 Nephi 3:228] And their dominions upon the face of the earth were small, because of the wickedness of the great whore whom I saw.

[1 Nephi 3:229] And it came to pass that I beheld that the great mother of abominations did gather together in multitudes upon the face of all the earth, among all the nations of the Gentiles, to fight against the Lamb of God.

[1 Nephi 3:230] And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth;

[1 Nephi 3:231] And they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory.

[1 Nephi 3:232] And it came to pass that I beheld that the wrath of God was poured out upon the great and abominable church, insomuch that there were wars and rumors of wars among all the nations and kindreds of the earth,

[1 Nephi 3:233] And as there began to be wars and rumors of wars among all the nations which belonged to the mother of abominations, the angel spake unto me, saying,

[1 Nephi 3:234] Behold, the wrath of God is upon the mother of harlots;

[1 Nephi 3:235] And behold, thou seest all these things;

[1 Nephi 3:236] And when the day cometh that the wrath of God is poured out upon the mother of harlots, which is the great and abominable church of all the earth, whose foundation is the devil,

[1 Nephi 3:237] Then at that day, the work of the Father shall commence, in preparing the way for the fulfilling of his covenants which he hath made to his people, who are of the house of Israel.

[1 Nephi 3:238] And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me, saying, Look! And I looked and beheld a man, and he was dressed in a white robe;

[1 Nephi 3:239] And the angel said unto me, Behold one of the twelve apostles of the Lamb!

[1 Nephi 3:240] Behold, he shall see and write the remainder of these things;

[1 Nephi 3:241] Yea, and also many things which have been;

[1 Nephi 3:242] And he shall also write concerning the end of the world;

[1 Nephi 3:243] Wherefore, the things which he shall write are just and true;

[1 Nephi 3:244] And behold, they are written in the book which thou beheld proceeding out of the mouth of the Jew;

[1 Nephi 3:245] And at the time they proceeded out of the mouth of the Jew, or, at the time the book proceeded out of the mouth of the Jew, the things which were written were plain and pure, and most precious and easy to the understanding of all men.

[1 Nephi 3:246] And behold, the things which this apostle of the Lamb shall write, are many things which thou hast seen;

[1 Nephi 3:247] And behold, the remainder shalt thou see;

[1 Nephi 3:248] But the things which thou shalt see hereafter, thou shalt not write; for the Lord God hath ordained the apostle of the Lamb of God that he should write them.

[1 Nephi 3:249] And also others who have been, to them hath he shown all things, and they have written them;

[1 Nephi 3:250] And they are sealed up to come forth in their purity according to the truth which is in the Lamb, in the own due time of the Lord, unto the house of Israel.

[1 Nephi 3:251] And I, Nephi, heard and bear record, that the name of the apostle of the Lamb was John, according to the word of the angel.

[1 Nephi 3:252] And behold, I, Nephi, am forbidden that I should write the remainder of the things which I saw and heard; wherefore, the things which I have written sufficeth me;

[1 Nephi 3:253] And I have not written but a small part of the things which I saw.

[1 Nephi 3:254] And I bear record, that I saw the things which my father saw, and the angel of the Lord did make them known unto me.

[1 Nephi 3:255] And now I make an end of speaking concerning the things which I saw, while I was carried away in the Spirit;

[1 Nephi 3:256] And if all the things which I saw are not written, the things which I have written are true. And thus it is. Amen.

[Sec 28:2a] Verily I say unto you, that ye are chosen out of the world to declare my gospel with the sound of rejoicing, as with the voice of a trump;

[Sec 28:2b] lift up your hearts and be glad, for I am in your midst, and am your advocate with the Father; and it is his good will to give you the kingdom;

[Sec 28:2c] and as it is written, Whatsoever ye shall ask in faith, being united in prayer according to my command, ye shall receive; and ye are called to bring to pass the gathering of mine elect, for mine elect hear my voice and harden not their hearts;
[Sec 28:2d] wherefore the decree hath gone forth from the Father that they shall be gathered in unto one place, upon the face of this land, to prepare their hearts, and be prepared in all things, against the day when tribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked;

[Sec 28:2e] for the hour is nigh, and the day soon at hand, when the earth is ripe; and all the proud, and they that do wickedly, shall be as stubble, and I will burn them up, saith the Lord of Hosts, that wickedness shall not be upon the earth;

[Sec 28:2f] for the hour is nigh, and that which was spoken by mine apostles must be fulfilled; for as they spoke, so shall it come to pass;

[Sec 28:2g] for I will reveal myself from heaven with power and great glory, with all the hosts thereof, and dwell in righteousness with men on earth a thousand years, and the wicked shall not stand.

[Sec 28:3a] And again, verily, verily I say unto you, and it hath gone forth in a firm decree, by the will of the Father,

[Sec 28:3b] that mine apostles, the twelve which were with me in my ministry at Jerusalem, shall stand at my right hand, at the day of my coming, in a pillar of fire, being clothed with robes of righteousness, with crowns upon their heads, in glory even as I am, to judge the whole house of Israel, even as many as have loved me and kept my commandments, and none else;

[Sec 28:3c] for a trump shall sound, both long and loud, even as upon Mount Sinai, and all the earth shall quake, and they shall come forth, yea, even the dead which died in me, to receive a crown of righteousness, and to be clothed upon, even as I am, to be with me, that we may be one.

[Sec 28:4a] But, behold, I say unto you, that before this great day shall come, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall be turned into blood, and the stars shall fall from heaven;

[Sec 28:4b] and there shall be greater signs in heaven above, and in the earth beneath; and there shall be weeping and wailing among the hosts of men; and there shall be a great hailstorm sent forth to destroy the crops of the earth;

[Sec 28:4c] and it shall come to pass, because of the wickedness of the world, that I will take vengeance upon the wicked, for they will not repent; for the cup of mine indignation is full; for, behold, my blood shall not cleanse them if they hear me not.

[Sec 28:5a] Wherefore, I, the Lord God, will send forth flies upon the face of the earth, which shall take hold of the inhabitants thereof, and shall eat their flesh, and shall cause maggots to come in upon them,

[Sec 28:5b] and their tongues shall be stayed that they shall not utter against me, and their flesh shall fall from off their bones, and their eyes from their sockets;

[Sec 28:5c] and it shall come to pass that the beasts of the forest and the fowls of the air shall devour them up; and the great and abominable church, which is the whore of all the earth, shall be cast down by devouring fire, according as it is spoken by the mouth of Ezekiel the prophet, which spoke of these things, which have not come to pass, but surely must, as I live, for abomination shall not reign.

[Sec 28:6a] And again, verily, verily I say unto you, that when the thousand years are ended, and men again begin to deny their God, then will I spare the earth but for a little season;

[Sec 28:6b] and the end shall come, and the heaven and the earth shall be consumed, and pass away, and there shall be a new heaven and a new earth;

[Sec 28:6c] for all old things shall pass away, and all things shall become new, even the heaven and the earth, and all the fullness thereof, both men and beasts, the fowls of the air, and the fishes of the sea;

[Sec 28:6d] and not one hair, neither mote, shall be lost, for it is the workmanship of mine hand.

[Sec 28:7a] But, behold, verily I say unto you, Before the earth shall pass away, Michael, mine archangel, shall sound his trump, and then shall all the dead awake, for their graves shall be opened, and they shall come forth; yea, even all;

[Sec 28:7b] and the righteous shall be gathered on my right hand unto eternal life; and the wicked on my left hand will I be ashamed to own before the Father;

[Sec 28:7c] wherefore I will say unto them, Depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels.

[Sec 28:8a] And now, behold, I say unto you, Never at any time, have I declared from my own mouth that they should return, for where I am they can not come, for they have no power;

[Sec 28:8b] but remember that all my judgments are not given unto men; and as the words have gone forth out of my mouth, even so shall they be fulfilled;

[Sec 28:8c] that the first shall be last, and the last shall be first in all things, whatsoever I have created by the word of my power, which is the power of my Spirit; for by the power of my Spirit, created I them;

[Sec 28:8d] yea, all things both spiritual and temporal: firstly spiritual, secondly temporal, which is the beginning of my work; and again, firstly temporal, and secondly spiritual, which is the last of my work;

[Sec 28:8e] speaking unto you that you may naturally understand, but unto myself my works have no end, neither beginning; but it is given unto you that ye may understand, because ye have asked it of me and are agreed.

[Sec 28:9a] Wherefore, verily I say unto you, that all things unto me are spiritual, and not at any time have I given unto you a law which was temporal, neither any man, nor the children of men; neither Adam your father, whom I created;

[Sec 28:9b] behold, I gave unto him that he should be an agent unto himself; and I gave unto him commandment, but no temporal commandment gave I unto him;

[Sec 28:9c] for my commandments are spiritual; they are not natural, nor temporal, neither carnal nor sensual.

[Sec 28:10a] And it came to pass, that Adam being tempted of the Devil, for, behold, the Devil was before Adam, for he rebelled against me, saying,

[Sec 28:10b] Give me thine honor, which is my power; and also a third part of the hosts of heaven turned he away from me because of their agency;

[Sec 28:10c] and they were thrust down, and thus became the Devil and his angels; and, behold, there is a place prepared for them from the beginning, which place is hell;

[Sec 28:10d] and it must needs be that the Devil should tempt the children of men, or they could not be agents unto themselves, for if they never should have bitter, they could not know the sweet.

[Sec 28:11a] Wherefore, it came to pass, that the Devil tempted Adam and he partook the forbidden fruit, and transgressed the commandment, wherein he became subject to the will of the Devil, because he yielded unto temptation;

[Sec 28:11b] wherefore, I the Lord God caused that he should be cast out from the garden of Eden, from my presence, because of his transgression:

[Sec 28:11c] wherein he became spiritually dead, which is the first death, even that same death, which is the last death, which is spiritual, which shall be pronounced upon the wicked when I shall say, Depart ye cursed.

[Sec 28:12a] But, behold, I say unto you, that I, the Lord God, gave unto Adam and unto his seed, that they should not die as to the temporal death, until I, the Lord God, should send forth angels to declare unto them repentance and redemption through faith on the name of mine only begotten Son;

[Sec 28:12b] and thus did I, the Lord God, appoint unto man the days of his probation;

[Sec 28:12c] that by his natural death, he might be raised in immortality unto eternal life, even as many as would believe, and they that believed not, unto eternal damnation;

[Sec 28:12d] for they can not be redeemed from their spiritual fall, because they repent not, for they will love darkness rather than light, and their deeds are evil, and they receive their wages of whom they list to obey.

[Sec 28:13a] But, behold, I say unto you, that little children are redeemed from the foundation of the world, through mine Only Begotten; wherefore they can not sin, for power is not given unto Satan to tempt little children, until they begin to become accountable before me;

[Sec 28:13b] for it is given unto them even as I will, according to mine own pleasure, that great things may be required at the hand of their fathers.

[Sec 28:14a] And again I say unto you, that whoso having knowledge, have I not commanded to repent?

[Sec 28:14b] and he that hath no understanding, it remaineth in me to do according as it is written.

[Sec 28:14c] And now, I declare no more unto you at this time. Amen.

Alma 17:54] For, behold, the Lord saw that his people began to work in darkness, yea, work secret murders and abominations; therefore the Lord said, if they did not repent, they should be destroyed from off the face of the earth.

[Alma 17:55] And the Lord said, I will prepare unto my servant Gazelem, a stone, which shall shine forth in darkness unto light, that I may discover unto my people who serve me, that I may discover unto them the works of their brethren; yea, their secret works, their works of darkness, and their wickedness and abominations.

[Alma 17:56] And now my son, these directors were prepared, that the word of God might be fulfilled, which he spake, saying: I will bring forth out of darkness unto light, all their secret works and their abominations.

[Alma 17:57] And except they repent, I will destroy them from off the face of the earth; and I will bring to light all their secrets and abominations, unto every nation that shall hereafter possess the land.

[Alma 17:58] And now my son, we see that they did not repent; therefore they have been destroyed; and thus far the word of God has been fulfilled; yea, their secret abominations have been brought out of darkness, and made known unto us.

[Alma 17:59] And now my son, I command you that ye retain all their oaths, and their covenants, and their agreements in their secret abominations; yea, and all their signs and their wonders ye shall retain from this people, that they know them not, lest peradventure they should fall into darkness also, and be destroyed.

[Alma 17:60] For behold, there is a curse upon all this land, that destruction shall come upon all those workers of darkness, according to the power of God, when they are fully ripe; therefore I desire that this people might not be destroyed.

[Alma 17:61] Therefore ye shall keep these secret plans of their oaths and their covenants from this people, and only their wickedness, and their murders, and their abominations, shall ye make known unto them:

[Alma 17:62] And ye shall teach them to abhor such wickedness, and abominations, and murders; and ye shall also teach them, that these people were destroyed on account of their wickedness, and abominations, and their murders.

[Alma 17:63] For behold, they murdered all the prophets of the Lord who came among them to declare unto them concerning their iniquites; and the blood of those whom they murdered, did cry unto the Lord their God, for vengeance upon those who were their murderers;

[Alma 17:64] And thus the judgments of God did come upon these workers of darkness and secret combinations; yea, and cursed be the land for ever and ever unto those workers of darkness and secret combinations, even unto destruction, except they repent before they are fully ripe.

[Alma 17:65] And now my son, remember the words which I have spoken unto you: trust not those secret plans unto this people, but teach them an everlasting hatred against sin and iniquity;
[Helaman 2:144] And now it came to pass that when the Lamanites found that there were robbers among them, they were exceeding sorrowful; and they did use every means in their power, to destroy them off the face of the earth.

[Helaman 2:145] But behold, Satan did stir up the hearts of the more part of the Nephites, insomuch that they did unite with those bands of robbers, and did enter into their covenants, and their oaths, that they would protect and preserve one another, in whatsoever difficult circumstances they should be placed, that they should not suffer for their murders, and their plunderings, and their stealings.

[Helaman 2:146] And it came to pass that they did have their signs, yea, their secret signs, and their secret words; and this that they might distinguish a brother who had entered into the covenant, that whatsoever wickedness his brother should do, he should not be injured by his brother, nor by those who did belong to his band, who had taken this covenant;

[Helaman 2:147] And thus they might murder, and plunder, and steal, and commit whoredoms, and all manner of wickedness, contrary to the laws of their country and also the laws of their God;

[Helaman 2:148] And whosoever of those who belonged to their band, should reveal unto the world of their wickedness and their abominations, should be tried, not according to the laws of their country, but according to the laws of their wickedness, which had been given by Gadianton and Kishkumen.

[Helaman 2:149] Now behold, it is these secret oaths and covenants, which Alma commanded his son should not go forth unto the world, lest they should be a means of bringing down the people unto destruction.

[Helaman 2:150] Now behold, those secret oaths and covenants did not come forth unto Gadianton from the records which were delivered unto Helaman;

[Helaman 2:151] But behold, they were put into the heart of Gadianton, by that same being who did entice our first parents to partake of the forbidden fruit; yea, the same being who did plot with Cain, that if he would murder his brother Abel, it should not be known unto the world.

[Helaman 2:152] And he did plot with Cain and his followers, from that time forth.

[Helaman 2:153] And also it is that same being who put it into the hearts of the people, to build a tower sufficiently high that they might get to heaven.

[Helaman 2:154] And it was that same being who led on the people who came from that tower into this land; who spread the works of darkness and abominations over all the face of the land, until he dragged the people down to an entire destruction, and to an everlasting hell;

[Helaman 2:155] Yea, it is that same being who put it into the heart of Gadianton, to still carry on the work of darkness, and of secret murder; and he has brought it forth from the beginning of man, even down to this time.

[Helaman 2:156] And behold, it is he who is the author of all sin. And behold, he doth carry on his works of darkness and secret murder, and doth hand down their plots, and their oaths, and their covenants, and their plans of awful wickedness from generation to generation, according as he can get hold upon the hearts of the children of men.

[Helaman 2:157] And now behold, he had got great hold upon the hearts of the Nephites; yea, insomuch that they had become exceeding wicked;

[Helaman 2:158] Yea, the more part of them had turned out of the way of righteousness, and did trample under their feet the commandments of God, and did turn unto their own ways, and did build up unto themselves idols of their gold and their silver.

[Helaman 2:159] And it came to pass that all these iniquities did come unto them, in the space of not many years, insomuch that a more part of it had come unto them in the sixty and seventh year of the reign of the Judges over the people of Nephi.

[Helaman 2:160] And they did grow in their iniquities, in the sixty and eighth year also, to the great sorrow and lamentation of the righteous.

[Helaman 2:161] And thus we see that the Nephites did begin to dwindle in unbelief, and grow in wickedness and abominations, while the Lamanites began to grow exceedingly in the knowledge of their God; yea, they did begin to keep his statutes and commandments, and to walk in truth and uprightness before him.

[Helaman 2:162] And thus we see that the Spirit of the Lord began to withdraw from the Nephites, because of the wickedness and the hardness of their hearts.

[Helaman 2:163] And thus we see that the Lord began to pour out his Spirit upon the Lamanites, because of their easiness and willingness to believe in his word.

[Genesis 5:3] And Adam ceased not to call upon God; and Eve also his wife.

[Genesis 5:4] And Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord; wherefore he may not reject his words. But, behold, also Cain hearkened not saying, Who is the Lord, that I should know him?

[Genesis 5:5] And she again conceived, and bare his brother Abel. And Abel hearkened unto the voice of the Lord. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

[Genesis 5:6] And Cain loved Satan more than God. And Satan commanded him, saying, Make an offering unto the Lord. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

[Genesis 5:7] And Abel, he also brought, of the firstlings of his flock, and of the fat thereof; and the Lord had respect unto Abel, and to his offering, but unto Cain, and to his offering, he had not respect.

[Genesis 5:8] Now Satan knew this, and it pleased him. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

[Genesis 5:9] And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? Why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well thou shalt be accepted, and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door; and Satan desireth to have thee, and except thou shalt hearken unto my commandments, I will deliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire; and thou shalt rule over him, for from this time forth thou shalt be the father of his lies.

[Genesis 5:10] Thou shalt be called Perdition, for thou wast also before the world, and it shall be said in time to come, that these abominations were had from Cain, for he rejected the greater counsel, which was had from God; and this is a cursing which I will put upon thee, except thou repent.

[Genesis 5:11] And Cain was wroth, and listened not any more to the voice of the Lord, neither to Abel his brother, who walked in holiness before the Lord.

[Genesis 5:12] And Adam also, and his wife, mourned before the Lord, because of Cain and his brethren.

[Genesis 5:13] And it came to pass, that Cain took one of his brother's daughters to wife, and they loved Satan more than God.

[Genesis 5:14] And Satan said unto Cain, Swear unto me by thy throat, and if thou tell it thou shalt die; and swear thy brethren by their heads, and by the living God, that they tell it not; for if they tell it they shall surely die; and this that thy father may not know it; and this day I will deliver thy brother Abel into thine hands.

[Genesis 5:15] And Satan swear unto Cain, that he would do according to his commands. And all these things were done in secret.

[Genesis 5:16] And Cain said, Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. Wherefore Cain was called Master Mahan; and he gloried in his wickedness.

[Genesis 5:17] And Cain went into the field, and Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, that while they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

[Genesis 5:18] And Cain gloried in that which he had done, saying, I am free; surely the flocks of my brother falleth into my hands.

[Genesis 5:19] And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel, thy brother? And he said, I know not, am I my brother's keeper?

[Genesis 5:20] And the Lord said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood cries unto me from the ground.

[Genesis 5:21] And now, thou shalt be cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand.

[Genesis 5:22] When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

[Genesis 5:23] And Cain said unto the Lord, Satan tempted me, because of my brother's flock; and I was wroth also, for his offering thou didst accept, and not mine.

[Genesis 5:24] My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the Lord, and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that he that findeth me shall slay me, because of mine iniquities, for these things are not hid from the Lord.

[Genesis 5:25] And I, the Lord, said unto him, Whosoever slayeth thee, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold; and I, the Lord, set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

[Genesis 5:26] And Cain was shut out from the presence of the Lord, and with his wife and many of his brethren, dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Ether 3:86] And it came to pass that Akish gathered in unto the house of Jared all his kinsfolks, and said unto them, Will ye swear unto me that ye will be faithful unto me in the thing which I shall desire of you?

[Ether 3:87] And it came to pass that they all swear unto him by the God of heaven, and also by the heavens, and also by the earth, and by their heads, that whoso should vary from the assistance which Akish desired, should lose his head;

[Ether 3:88] And whoso should divulge whatsoever thing Akish made known unto them, the same should lose his life. And it came to pass that thus they did agree with Akish.

[Ether 3:89] And Akish did administer unto them the oaths which were given by them of old, who also sought power, which had been handed down even from Cain, who was a murderer from the beginning.

[Ether 3:90] And they were kept up by the power of the devil to administer these oaths unto the people, to keep them in darkness, to help such as sought power, to gain power, and to murder, and to plunder, and to lie, and to commit all manner of wickedness and whoredoms.

[Ether 3:91] And it was the daughter of Jared who put it into his heart to search up these things of old; and Jared put it into the heart of Akish; wherefore Akish administered it unto his kindreds and friends, leading them away by fair promises to do whatsoever thing he desired.

[Ether 3:92] And it came to pass that they formed a secret combination, even as they of old; which combination is most abominable and wicked above all, in the sight of God;

[Ether 3:93] For the Lord worketh not in secret combinations, neither doth he will that man should shed blood, but in all things hath forbidden it, from the beginning of man.

[Ether 3:94] And now I, Moroni, do not write the manner of their oaths and combinations, for it hath been made known unto me that they are had among all people, and they are had among the Lamanites, and they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi;

[Ether 3:95] And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed, for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them, and yet he avenge them not;

[Ether 3:96] Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shewn unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain, and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you;

[Ether 3:97] Yea, even the sword of the justice of the eternal God, shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction, if ye shall suffer these things to be;

[Ether 3:98] Wherefore the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you, that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you, or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who build it up.

[Ether 3:99] For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up, seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations and countries;

[Ether 3:100] And it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people; for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents;

[Ether 3:101] Yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men, that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.

[Ether 3:102] Wherefore I, Moroni, am commanded to write these things, that evil may be done away, and that the time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men, but that they may be persuaded to do good continually, that they may come unto the fountain of all righteousness and be saved.

[Sec 43:8a] Hearken ye to these words, behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

[Sec 45:1a] Hearken, O ye people of my church, to whom the kingdom has been given, hearken ye, and give ear to him who laid the foundation of the earth, who made the heavens and all the hosts thereof, and by whom all things were made which live and move and have a being.

[Sec 45:1b] And again I say, Hearken unto my voice, lest death shall overtake you; in an hour when ye think not, the summer shall be past, and the harvest ended, and your souls not saved.

[Sec 45:1c] Listen to him who is the Advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him, saying,

[Sec 45:1d] Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified;

[Sec 45:1e] wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life.

[Sec 45:2a] Hearken, O ye people of my church, and ye elders, listen together, and hear my voice, while it is called today, and harden not your hearts;

[Sec 45:2b] for verily I say unto you that I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the light and the life of the world; a light that shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehendeth it not.

[Sec 45:2c] I came unto my own, and my own received me not; but unto as many as received me gave I power to do many miracles and to become the sons of God, and even unto them that believed on my name gave I power to obtain eternal life.

[Sec 45:2d] And even so I have sent mine everlasting covenant into the world, to be a light to the world, and to be a standard for my people and for the Gentiles to seek to it, and to be a messenger before my face to prepare the way before me.

[Sec 45:2e] Wherefore come ye unto it; and with him that cometh I will reason as with men in days of old, and I will show unto you my strong reasoning;

[Sec 45:2f] wherefore hearken ye together, and let me show it unto you, even my wisdom, the wisdom of him who ye say is the God of Enoch and his brethren, who were separated from the earth, and were received unto myself;

[Sec 45:2g] a city reserved until a day of righteousness shall come:

[Sec 45:2h] a day which was sought for by all holy men, and they found it not, because of wickedness and abominations, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth, but obtained a promise that they should find it, and see it in their flesh.

[Sec 45:2i] Wherefore hearken, and I will reason with you, and I will speak unto you and prophesy, as unto men in days of old;

[Sec 45:2j] and I will show it plainly, as I showed it unto my disciples, as I stood before them in the flesh, and spake unto them, saying,

[Sec 45:2k] As ye have asked of me concerning the signs of my coming, in the day when I shall come in my glory in the clouds of heaven, to fulfill the promises that I have made unto your fathers;

[Sec 45:2l] for as ye have looked upon the long absence of your spirits from your bodies to be a bondage, I will show unto you how the day of redemption shall come, and also the restoration of the scattered Israel.

[Sec 45:3a] And now ye behold this temple which is in Jerusalem, which ye call the house of God, and your enemies say that this house shall never fall.

[Sec 45:3b] But verily I say unto you that desolation shall come upon this generation as a thief in the night, and this people shall be destroyed and scattered among all nations.

[Sec 45:3c] And this temple which ye now see shall be thrown down, that there shall not be left one stone upon another.

[Sec 45:3d] And it shall come to pass that this generation of Jews shall not pass away until every desolation which I have told you concerning them shall come to pass.

[Sec 45:3e] Ye say that ye know that the end of the world cometh; ye say, also, that ye know that the heavens and the earth shall pass away; and in this ye say truly, for so it is; but these things which I have told you shall not pass away until all shall be fulfilled.

[Sec 45:3f] And this I have told you concerning Jerusalem; and when that day shall come, shall a remnant be scattered among all nations, but they shall be gathered again; but they shall remain until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

[Sec 45:4a] And in that day shall be heard of wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men's hearts shall fail them, and they shall say that Christ delayeth his coming until the end of the earth.

[Sec 45:4b] And the love of men shall wax cold, and iniquity shall abound; and when the time of the Gentiles is come in, a light shall break forth among them that sit in darkness, and it shall be the fullness of my gospel;

[Sec 45:4c] but they receive it not, for they perceive not the light, and they turn their hearts from me because of the precepts of men;

[Sec 45:4d] and in that generation shall the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled; and there shall be men standing in that generation that shall not pass, until they shall see an overflowing scourge, for a desolating sickness shall come over the land;

[Sec 45:4e] but my disciples shall stand in holy places, and shall not be moved; but among the wicked, men shall lift up their voices and curse God, and die.

[Sec 45:4f] And there shall be earthquakes, also, in divers places and many desolations; yet men will harden their hearts against me, and they will take up the sword one against another, and they will kill one another.

[Sec 45:5a] And now, when I the Lord had spoken these words unto my disciples, they were troubled;

[Sec 45:5b] and I said unto them, Be not troubled, for when all these things shall come to pass, ye may know that the promises which have been made unto you shall be fulfilled;

[Sec 45:5c] and when the light shall begin to break forth, it shall be with them like unto a parable which I shall show you;

[Sec 45:5d] ye look and behold the fig trees, and ye see them with your eyes, and ye say, when they begin to shoot forth and their leaves are yet tender, that summer is now nigh at hand;

[Sec 45:5e] even so it shall be in that day, when they shall see all these things, then shall they know that the hour is nigh.

[Sec 45:6a] And it shall come to pass that he that feareth me shall be looking forth for the great day of the Lord to come, even for the signs of the coming of the Son of man;

[Sec 45:6b] and they shall see signs and wonders, for they shall be shown forth in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath;

[Sec 45:6c] and they shall behold blood and fire, and vapors of smoke; and before the day of the Lord shall come, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon be turned into blood, and stars fall from heaven;

[Sec 45:6d] and the remnant shall be gathered unto this place; and then they shall look for me, and behold I will come;

[Sec 45:6e] and they shall see me in the clouds of heaven, clothed with power and great glory, with all the holy angels; and he that watches not for me shall be cut off.

[Sec 45:7a] But before the arm of the Lord shall fall, an angel shall sound his trump, and the saints that have slept, shall come forth to meet me in the cloud;

[Sec 45:7b] wherefore if ye have slept in peace, blessed are you, for as you now behold me and know that I am, even so shall ye come unto me and your souls shall live, and your redemption shall be perfected, and the saints shall come forth from the four quarters of the earth.

[Sec 45:8a] Then shall the arm of the Lord fall upon the nations, and then shall the Lord set his foot upon this mount, and it shall cleave in twain, and the earth shall tremble and reel to and fro;

[Sec 45:8b] and the heavens also shall shake, and the Lord shall utter his voice and all the ends of the earth shall hear it, and the nations of the earth shall mourn,

[Sec 45:8c] and they that have laughed shall see their folly, and calamity shall cover the mocker, and the scorner shall be consumed, and they that have watched for iniquity, shall be hewn down and cast into the fire.

[Sec 45:9a] And then shall the Jews look upon me and say, What are these wounds in thy hands, and in thy feet?

[Sec 45:9b] Then shall they know that I am the Lord; for I will say unto them, These wounds are the wounds with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

[Sec 45:9c] I am he who was lifted up. I am Jesus that was crucified. I am the Son of God.

[Sec 45:9d] And then shall they weep because of their iniquities; then shall they lament because they persecuted their King.

[Sec 45:10a] And then shall the heathen nations be redeemed, and they that knew no law shall have part in the first resurrection; and it shall be tolerable for them; and Satan shall be bound that he shall have no place in the hearts of the children of men.

[Sec 45:10b] And at that day when I shall come in my glory, shall the parable be fulfilled which I spake concerning the ten virgins; for they that are wise and have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived, verily I say unto you,

[Sec 45:10c] They shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire, but shall abide the day, and the earth shall be given unto them for an inheritance;

[Sec 45:10d] and they shall multiply and wax strong, and their children shall grow up without sin unto salvation, for the Lord shall be in their midst, and his glory shall be upon them, and he will be their King and their lawgiver.

[Sec 45:11a] And now, behold, I say unto you, It shall not be given unto you to know any further concerning this chapter, until the New Testament be translated, and in it all these things shall be made known;

[Sec 45:11b] wherefore I give unto you that you may now translate it, that ye may be prepared for the things to come; for verily I say unto you, that great things await you;

[Sec 45:11c] ye hear of wars in foreign lands, but, behold, I say unto you, They are nigh, even at your doors, and not many years hence ye shall hear of wars in your own lands.

[Sec 45:12a] Wherefore, I the Lord have said, Gather ye out from the eastern lands, assemble ye yourselves together ye elders of my church;

[Sec 45:12b] go ye forth unto the western countries, call upon the inhabitants to repent, and inasmuch as they do repent, build up churches unto me;

[Sec 45:12c] and with one heart and with one mind, gather up your riches that ye may purchase an inheritance which shall hereafter be appointed unto you, and it shall be called the New Jerusalem, a land of peace, a city of refuge, a place of safety for the saints of the most high God;

[Sec 45:12d] and the glory of the Lord shall be there, and the terror of the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will not come unto it; and it shall be called Zion.

[Sec 45:13a] And it shall come to pass, among the wicked, that every man that will not take his sword against his neighbor, must needs flee unto Zion for safety.

[Sec 45:13b] And there shall be gathered unto it out of every nation under heaven; and it shall be the only people that shall not be at war one with another.

[Sec 45:13c] And it shall be said among the wicked, Let us not go up to battle against Zion, for the inhabitants of Zion are terrible, wherefore we can not stand.

[Sec 45:14] And it shall come to pass that the righteous shall be gathered out from among all nations, and shall come to Zion singing, with songs of everlasting joy.

[Sec 45:15a] And now I say unto you, Keep these things from going abroad unto the world, until it is expedient in me, that ye may accomplish this work in the eyes of the people and in the eyes of your enemies, that they may not know your works until ye have accomplished the thing which I have commanded you;

[Sec 45:15b] that when they shall know it, that they may consider these things, for when the Lord shall appear he shall be terrible unto them, that fear may seize upon them, and they shall stand afar off and tremble;

[Sec 45:15c] and all nations shall be afraid because of the terror of the Lord, and the power of his might. Even so. Amen.
