We are pleased to announce that netvibes is sponsoring the Widget Summit 2007, held in San Francisco on the 15th and 16th of October. The two day conference will highlight the new exciting perspectives of the widget economy, and Netvibes will talk about UWA and new things to be released soon! We hope to see you there, as netvibes will be your host for the Summit's Monday night reception. And another cool thing; we'll have a prize drawing to win an Ipod touch! The happy winner could then browse its netvibes pages with the netvibes mobile application for Apple.

A fresh design, a better navigation. Finding widgets has never been easier on Netvibes, you can now browse and filter widgets by categories, try our new search and see live preview on widget’s details page.

See what’s popular and star what you like. You can see what are the most popular widgets and rate the widgets you like or not.

Create a widget in 60 secondes. Do you have a feed, a podcast, a flash game or a mini application ? Click on “Submit new content” and your widget will be created and added to Ecosystem.

Control your widgets. Click on “My widgets” to see all your widgets and get stats, comments and starring.

Here we are: the most anticipated sport event of this autumn begins tonight. To celebrate the Rugby World Cup 2007, a widget is available in the Ecosystem so you can follow all the matches results, from the pools standings to the knockout stages. That way you will not miss anything during the 44 days of the competition.

As it is a UWA widget, you can also add it to iGoogle and even Windows Vista.... yes, you heard it right ;) This summer we have been working on the Vista Support and it will be officially released in a few weeks.

We are pleased to announce that we just improved our mobile and introduced a brand new iPhone version of netvibes. You can now access your page from any mobile phone.

Just try it. Once again we tried to make it very simple, just being able to browse all your tabs, feeds, webnotes, todo-lists, search modules, and some essential applications widgets like Facebook (with photos), email, Twitter, del.icio.us all in one.

Now you can also browse netvibes Universe on your mobile ! For example, you can check Techcrunch mobile Universe at http://m.netvibes.com/techcrunch

Netvibes goes iPhone.

The iPhone version is an opportunity to extend our Universal Widget API to the iPhone. You can now experience your netvibes with your fingertips and all the UWA widgets created by the Developer community are now iPhone powered !
