Get more Spawn (remake) news

Todd McFarlane will be financing the script development for the long-delayed Spawn 2, which may simply be called Spawn, according to Home Media Magazine. McFarlane is currently writing the script and says that the new film won’t have any ties with the first film (the disaster). He also says that the film will be darker and creepier, “I can make a spooky, suspenseful thriller that will scare the crap out of you.” No word on if this will be a direct-to-video title or not.

The '97 Spawn movie was ok, the soundtrack was definately
the biggest highlight. Looking forward to this so called
remake.

I'd like to see a good spawn movie done, but fuck live
action. I say animation or nothing. But that's just me.

YES!!!! the previous spawn movie was ok but the animated
series were far superior in both tone and story! But Im sure
Todd can bring Spawn to the big screen with equal
perfection!

I can't wait!!!! I've been waiting forever for them to come
out with some kind of sequel whether it be animated or not,
but nothing will top the original '97 Spawn
