TryRugby Brumbies July School Holiday Clinics AIS Talent Development Camp RugNet Program
TryRugby TryRugby is the Australian Rugby Union's fun, six-week sports program for boys and girls aged 5 - 16 years. It's a fun way for young players of all abilities and Rugby experience to enjoy the game at their own pace. Players develop general and Rugby specific sport skills in a fun, safe and welcoming atmosphere to play the modified Rugby games of Walla, Mini and Midi. Professional instructors run skills and games to suit the specific age groups and abilities of the children. TryRugby centres may offer one, two or three of the three different program levels, including: TryRugby TryRugby Plus and TryRugby Play The program has also been designed for the needs and lifestyles of the modern family. It combines a central location with short session durations and community barbecues as well as activities for mums, dads and the children. Running TryRugby centres throughout regional and suburban Australia has been made possible by the profits generated by the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Click here to register NOW!

Brumbies AIS Talent Development Camp The development camp aims to identify players from Canberra and the surrounding region who may be eligible to join the Brumbies Academy. Individually, the camp aims to assist with the core skill development of players across all positions. The camp is run for three days in late January at the Australian Institute Of Sport, Australia’s leading sporting facility. Participants must be at least 15 years of age and under the age of 18 at the time of the camp to be accepted with only 50 positions available. The Camp has already become an important element of the Brumbies talent identification process, with a number of players from the 2006 camp progressing to the Brumbies Academy Program. The Camp is a great opportunity for players looking to start their journey along the natural pathways to a Brumbies Training and/or Super 14 Contract. Back to Top
