Hopefully you will ALL have bought (or been given) Project Gotham Racing 2 by now, and unlocked plenty of cars. If you want to add a little spice to PGR2 then a great game to play is Cat and Mouse, as invented by ZestfulMass (Macclesfield in the house!) and now played by thousands.
Here's the lowdown
To play Cat N Mouse, you need at least 4 players in a game (XBL enabled). The players split up into 2 teams and choose a color (Red and Yellow works well). 1 Player from each team then chooses the Mini Cooper, whilst the rest of the team choose any car they want.
The object of Cat and Mouse is for both teams is to get the Mini home first. Whichever team gets the Mini over the finish line wins. If any other player crosses the line before the Mini, then that team loses.
Here's X365 tips:
2 teams - Red / Yellow
2 Mini Coopers (One Per Team - Mouse)
Rest of the team chooses Extreme Race Cars (Cats)
*Enzo Ferrari, Porsche GT1, etc)
Change the weather conditions to Rain
Choose one of the following courses:
*Moscow KGB Corner (Nice and Fast - watch that Mini do 150+ MPH)
*Nurburgring Race Track (8 Mins of fast and furious fun)

One final note - I personally choose the Porsche Cayanne Turbo when I'm playing Cat - it's fast (as quick as a Porsche 911) and it weighs at least 50,000 lbs - meaning that you can ram the Extreme cars and the Mini Cooper clear off the track. Just don't tell anyone that I told you....

I hadn´t thought this was newsworthy...
Anyway, when playing C&M;, remember not just to attack the other mini, but also to PUSH your mini. You get wicked pts for drafting!

i tried the demo of this game and thought it was kinda lame, the cars handle like a freakin tank IMO, this game is not for me and i don´t see all the hype it gets, but whatever.

The DEMO was/is lame. Who the hell wants that big old Nissan anyway. I have the game and it is great but there are several cars that may not be to your liking. P.S. Why do people bitch about an article on a free website and why do people bitch about a game they don´t have and are not planning on buying? Idiots.

The game is great and far better than the Demo....
Cat & Mouse is great fun and always good for a laugh at the end of a night :)

i think the demo was great. i liked it enough to buy it and i still think its great.
gt3 on ps2 was a great game.I think it set a landmark in street race games.I liked and upgrading parts in the game.gr2 dosn´t have that,but considering all everyone did was upgrade to the best stuff anyway.why not just start there and race like that as gr2 did.
I have no complaints with the game.true its not for everyone,but its a great game.

C&M; is fun, thats a nice laugh change between fast laps against others, definitely fun !
About the game itself, it is simply the best race driving game out there. Its just crazy, best controls, best cars, best graphics, best sounds, and lot more fun than a GT or SegaGT ! And with the Live options (the revolution of doawnloading other´s players ghosts !!! ..and hundreds, really hundreds of worldwide ladders) its incredible, the best game until Halo 2 i guess !
