Kuih Che Mek Molek is made from sweet potatoes and filled with sugar.
Ingredients
300g sweet potatoes (boiled)
50g plain flaour
50g granulated sugar
oil for deep frying
salt to taste
Method:
1. Mash sweet potatoes.
2. Add flour and mix well. Add small amount of water if needed.
3. Make a round doh and make it even on the middle.
4. Add 1/2 tbs sugar to the middle and reshape it to oval shape.
5. Fry until turn yellow.
Difficult to find but local place is at Kemaman "pasar malam" or night market
