香港特區護照、澳門特區護照及英國國民（海外）BNO 護照持有人可不需持有短期簽證﹝少於九十天﹞進入法國或其他申根會員國。
香港特區護照、澳門特區護照及英國國民（海外）BNO護照持有人由二零零二年一月一日起可享免簽證於九個法屬海外地區逗留多至三個月。此地區包括：哥德洛普島、法屬圭亞那、馬提尼克、留尼汪、馬約特、聖皮埃爾和密克隆群島、法屬玻里尼西亞、瓦利斯和富圖納群島及法屬南方和南極洲領地。此協議包括所有法屬海外地區，法屬新喀里多尼亞除外。
到法屬新喀里多尼亞或於法國或其他申根會員國逗留多於九十天需要申請簽證。
