Repeat for the other arm.

Sew together the very first row or sew on a cute button and close. It doesn't really matter which because you should be able to pull this over your head.

Thread ribbon onto a yarn needle and thread ribbon over every other two Dc in top row starting in the center of the front portion.  Put the top on and pull it down on you chest where you want it and then tie into a bow.

Thread elastic onto yarn needle and on the inside of the top starting where you started the ribbon weave through right in back of the ribbon.  I tied this together into a knot after I put this on and tied the elastic to the tightness i wanted, I then left the elastic ends hang loose on the inside so I could untie and retighten or loosen as I gain or lose a few pounds.

Good luck and hopefully my first pattern attempt is a success.
