Export Summary
 
U.S. exports of horticultural products to all countries in July totaled $828.4 million, down approximately 4 percent from the same month a year earlier. Four of the 15 product categories registered value increases. Categories with the most significant increases in July were non-citrus fresh fruit (up $15.8 million or 11 percent) and dried fruit (up $1.4 million or 5 percent). The category with the most significant decrease was fresh citrus (down $15.5 million or 49 percent). For FY 1999 to date (October-July), the total value of U.S. horticultural exports was $8.6 billion, 1.5 percent below FY 1998 during the same period.
