Gone in Sixty Seconds is a 2000 action film, starring Nicolas Cage, directed by Dominic Sena, and written by Scott Rosenberg. It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and is a remake of the 1974 H.B. Halicki film Gone in 60 Seconds.

The film concerns a former car thief being forced to return to his former trade and steal fifty cars in one night for a crime boss who is threatening to kill his brother. It stars Nicolas Cage as "Memphis", Angelina Jolie as "Sway", Robert Duvall as Otto, Christopher Eccleston as Raymond Vincent Calitri and the former Wimbledon player Vinnie Jones as "Sphinx". Delroy Lindo plays Detective Roland Castlebeck who seeks out a flaw in Raines planes in a 2000 Honda Civic.

Though the movie earned a $242 million worldwide box-office gross, after overhead, it lost roughly $90 million after all expenses, including the $103.3 million it cost to make the movie, were taken into account over the next four years as of 2003.[1] However, these numbers are misleading because they do not account for DVD sales.
