► Newly proposed chemical

Any Party may submit a proposal to the Secretariat for listing a new chemical including information specified in Annex D.  The summary of the proposal will be available at the third meeting of the POPRC.

► Chemicals for preparation of risk profiles

The purpose of the risk profile is to evaluate whether the chemical is likely, as a result of its long-range environmental transport, to lead to significant adverse human health and/or environmental effects, such that global action is warranted.  The draft risk profiles will be available at the third meeting of the POPRC.
