The final word We did it. It took three years, the co-operation of over twenty people, and multiple team changes, but the dream has finally been realized. It began in a private channel, #misuzu, on a lark, and the original team never imagined that it would actually be completed. But here we are, through an extraordinary turn of events, proudly declaring that Wind -a breath of heart- is the very first full-length commercial visual novel to be completely fansubbed. I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed their time to this project. There were so many people involved that I cannot possibly mention them all, but each person knows who they are. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for making this possible. However, there are two people I would like to mention specifically: Mr. Lee Massi (Clammerz) is the unsung hero of this project. Out of five alpha-testers, he was the only one who went all the way and reported dutifully as each of the twelve alpha-test packages were released, gathering hundreds of screenshots in an attempt at perfection. In the end, his reports totaled nearly half a megabyte of text alone, and I was somewhat relieved that I did not have to sift through five times that amount. He also spent time creating one of the most extensive dummy-proof installers I have ever seen. However, the bulk of the glory goes to Mr. Seung Park (gp32). When he first joined the team, I was skeptical of his abilities. After all, no one at the time had completely translated a visual novel in his or her spare time. However, I quickly learned that he was committed to finishing his part of the project. He had the drive and determination to see it through, and I could not believe my eyes as the scripts came pouring in. Creative differences eventually made us go our separate ways, but it was a privilege and an honor to have had the opportunity to work with him on two projects (this and the Haru no Ashioto demo) over six months. Without him, there would have been no project. The team was truly blessed to have had him aboard. The two groups involved in this project are now heading in opposite directions. As my fansub group, the No Name Losers, quietly fades into the sunset, Mr. Park's bishoujo game fansub group, insani, is preparing for another season of al|together. It is a testament of his dedication to this hobby, and I wish him and Mr. Edward Keyes the very best as they strive to increase public awareness of visual novels and bishoujo games.
