If one artist from the '80s can be called the most surprising comeback story of the aughties, it can only be Mr. Jon Bon Jovi, who overcame his hairsprayed past ("You Give Love a Bad Name") with a series of dressed-down acting roles and a very tasteful makeover. Then he and guitarist Richie Sambora got the band back together, replacing their rollicking "Slippery When Wet" sound with mellower tones and all was forgiven.
