worked great

Pros: big bang for the buck. installed in a 3-year old Toshiba, which only have 256mb before. Was like the difference between a Volkswagen Bettle and a Corvette!! +++

Cons: I can't really think of any. Was skeptical of NewEgg at first, this being my first purchase from them, but it went smoothly and wonderful!

Other Thoughts: Needs to upgrade to new laptop. lol

Unbeatable, Striker Extreme Compatible!

Pros: Truely unbeatable memory for the price, given the performance and capacity. This memory overclocks well, reaching timings of 5-4-4-12 at 1200FSB/900DDR fairly easily with the nVidia nTune utility. Achieving CAS4 has been a challenge, and better performance can usually be achieved at tight CAS5 timings and a higher DDR bus rate.

Cons: Its tough to get this stuff running at CAS4 at any decent bus rate and still maintain high performance.

Other Thoughts: This memory is an excellent choice for those interested in getting the ASUS Striker Extreme motherboard. This memory kit is not on ASUS' QVL, but it runs at default timings without a hitch, and overclocks very well at CAS5+ and default voltage (or auto voltage in Strikers BIOS).

Antec case offers big value and performance

Pros: Very nice look and good construction. Hard drive bay perpendicular orientation makes drive maintenance easier. Case relatively quiet but not miraculous. Power supply cables are easily managed. Front access USB and audio are a plus.

Cons: eSATA on front is a waste for the near future. IEEE1394ab would be a better choice. Rubber feet come off relatively easily when case is pushed on the floor even a short distance. Shiny finish is a dust magnet.

Other Thoughts: An excellent choice for a quality desktop system. Only major minus is the selection of eSATA on front rather than 1394.

Works Great, easy install

Pros: Not much else to say other than installed the chip and it works at the speed advertised.

Cons: It did not jump out of the box and install itself.

WORKS Great

Pros: it runs great on my Toshiba satellite labtop. had 512 ram to start and that was not enough to run windows Vista basic or any games for that matter. so i bought 2 sticks of this ram and so far i am very happy with them. no corruption or bad sticks which was a good thing.

Cons: I can't eat them...

Other Thoughts: I wish i had a Cupcake...

Installed them, they worked

Pros: Not much else to say. Inserted them and they worked. At $21 per gig, the price is awesome.

Cons: They didn't jump out of the package and install themselves.

Didn't do much for me

Pros: It does what it's suppose to do to a sense. It dropped my core temp at idle about 3c, but nothing fabulous. I have a x2 4200 amd oc'd at 2.5. The oc itself does not put much more heat out, as I tried without and with the oc for the true results. If you're looking for an inexpensive solution that provides a slight improvement, I recommend this product.

Cons: Only dropped about 3c. I don't see how these people on here are talking about it dropping their processor like 10c. Then again not all of them state what kind of processor they own.

Other Thoughts: It's nice, it's cool. It's really quiet which seems to be the big perk everyone wants, but some people might want something a little more if they expect awesome air cooling. I'll keep the product and not worry about trying to sell it off because I plan on upgrading soon anyways (a new machine).

Great board, not for the weak of mind

Pros: The Asus Striker Extreme is definitely a phenomenal motherboard. More features than I've ever seen, generally superb layout (see caveat in cons). Heat-pipe cooling system for all the critical processors on the board, good organization of headers, memory slots, SATA connectors, etc. The built-in LED's can be switched on when the system -> is powered off <-, giving you a decent amount of light to see by. (Antec P190 computer case has an internal light which compliments LED's). Many usability features that overclockers will love, such as a reset CMOS button (very handy), a case connector block (simplifies connecting Pwr, Rst, HDD led lines), and onboard power and reset switches. I have yet to think of something else I could need on a motherboard.

Cons: The overall layout of this board is excellent, and its quite spacious. I have had no problems reaching connectors, connecting fans, or plugging memory in. The only issue with this motherboard is the placement of the two full-speed 16x PCI-E slots. The second slot is near the bottom of the motherboard, and for SLI setups that use dual-slot cards, this can be problematic. It is especially problematic for those who like the Antec P1xx series of computer cases. A second video card barely fits at the bottom of the motherboard, with less than 1/2" of space between the card and the bottom panel of the motherboard cavity in an Antec P180 or P190. In an older Antec case, there is barely 1" of space. This doesn't leave much room for airflow, and in the P1xx series, barely enough room for Firewire and USB connector cables to the front of the case. If you are a fan of Antec cases, or compact cases, plan your video cards carefully and get single-slot cards if at all possible.

Other Thoughts: This motherboard is a dream if you use it properly. Keep in mind, this is a HIGH END motherboard, and as such, is generally going to require other high end components to work properly and provide full benefit. Cheap memory is a very bad idea with this motherboard, so get good stuff. ASUS has a very limited list of qualified memory that it will officially support, however, G-Skill memory has been very stable (its not on their QVL). I am using a set of G.SKILL 2x2GB (4GB) DDR2 800 Dual Channel Memory, and its running very smoothly. Optimal timings and performance were reached at a 1200FSB/900DDR clock with 5-4-4-12-16 timings. Performance went from 5100 MB/s to 5950 MB/s in Sandra from the default clock and timings. (Booting at CAS4 hasn't been possible so far, however.) This motherboard supports nVdia nTune, a GPU and motherboard overclocking utility for nForce motherboards. All overclocking I've performed has been done through the nTune tool.
