51.1 seconds behind the leading squad from Norway at the start of the last leg, Kati Wilhelm eventually secured the victory for Germany. Norway ranked second in the end with a total of nine errors (no penalty), 24.3 seconds behind Germany, after leading the race from the first exchange until the final shooting session.

Ann Kristin Flatland needed all three spare rounds of ammunition to shoot clean here, turning her 20-second advantage into a 20-second deficit. Russia finished in third rank, 1:07.6 minutes behind Germany, with one penalty and a total of eleven errors.
