The UK Police National Missing Persons Bureau (PNMPB) is the centre for the exchange of information connected with the search for missing persons both nationally and internationally. The Bureau focuses on cross matching missing persons with unidentified persons.
How do I report someone missing?
This can be done by contacting your local
police station. The PNMPB are unable to receive reports of missing
people directly from the public. If the person reported missing lives
in a different part of the country, details will be recorded by the
local police. usually resides.

Rescue Alert was launched nationally in 2006, as a ground-breaking
initiative to save abducted children from being murdered.
The scheme works by interrupting television and radio programmes
with immediate news flashes that a youngster has been snatched and
is at risk of serious harm or death.
