Are We Done Yet? is a family comedy film that revolves around one family's chaotic move to a new home. Nick Persons (Ice Cube) sells his sports memorabilia store and marries his girlfriend, Suzanne (Nia Long). Along with her children, Lindsey (Aleshia Allen) and Kevin (Phillip Daniel Bolden), Suzanne moves into Nick's apartment. It is shortly after this that Suzanne finds out she is pregnant with twins. Needing more room, the family decides to search for a house in the countryside. A man named Chuck (John C. McGinley) shows them a beautiful house that needs a lot of maintenance work. The family decides to take the house and they hire Chuck to do the fixes. However, it soon becomes apparent that Chuck does not know what he is doing so Nick fires him. A series of hilarious events ensue that cause Nick and his family to wonder if the move was a good decision.
