Veer-Zaara is a love story by Yash Chopra that centers around an Indian man and a Pakistani woman. Zaara (Preity Zinta) is a beautiful Pakistani heiress who travels to India to scatter the ashes of her loyal servant. She is taken in by the family of Veer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan). Although the two countries, India and Pakistan, have conflicts, Veer's aunt and uncle welcome Zaara to stay the night. Veer finds himself falling for this Pakistani beauty but he soon finds out that she is engaged to another man named Raza (Manoj Bajpai). He apparently is a cold and cruel man who doesn't treat Zaara the way she should be treated. He soon learns that Zaara has feelings for Veer and has had thoughts of leaving her current fiance. He eventually tells Zaara he loves her and plans to follow her to Pakistan but conflicts arise and their relationship is at a standstill. Find out what happens to Veer and Zaara.moreless
