Jackie admits that he did Cannonball Run II (1984) just to fulfill his contract with Warner Brothers.

Jackie was to star in a film entitled Nosebleed, but the project was cancelled after the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001. He was to play a window-washer at the WTC that has to stop a terrorist plot.

Jackie Has a great, long lasting relationship with Mitsubishi Motors. The company has donated many of their automobiles for his films.

Jackie Chan became the only male singer to release an Official 2008 Beijing Olympics album in August 2008. He wore a sports get-up during the album launched and and said that he has 101 other clothing sets customized for Olympic occasions.

Jackie was made an International Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF in 2004. He has also appeared in several PSA's on bird flu, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, and landmines.

Jackie is a 2008 member of the American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet. Members of the cabinet help out using their talents and resources in furthering the cause of the organization.

In 2006, Forbes Magazine named Jackie Chan among the top ten most gorgeous celebrities in Hollywood.

When he was 21 years old and still struggling as an actor, Jackie made a porn movie made in Hong Kong entitled All in the Family.

MTV honored Jackie Chan with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994 for his vast contribution in the film industry.

In 2004 Jackie Chan created his own film production company called Jackie Chan Emperor Movies Limited. This was brought about by his dissatisfaction with the way Asian actors are treated in Hollywood.

In 2000, Chan voiced himself in the video game Jackie Chan Stuntmaster.

Jackie Chan made an appearance in Uncle Kracker's music video of "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah".

On May 4, 2008, Chan was one of the Olympic torchbearers for the first day of the three-month journey of the torch to Beijing, the site of the 2008 Olympics. He was the last one to carry the torch during that day.

Jackie wrote an autobiographical book entitled I Am Jackie Chan: My Life in Action which was published on June 28, 1999. A book about him was also written by Tony Rayns entitled The Mind is a Muscle: An Appreciation of Jackie Chan in 1987.

Jackie is 5'8½" tall.

Jackie Chan kept the fact that he had a son for 11 years from the public.

Jackie Chan's son is also pursuing an acting career, Jackie told him not to tell agents that he was his father so his son would work to the top, not based on family reputation. Jackie asked his son change his last name so he could get a job on his own.

Jackie is good friends with Steven Seagal. He is best friends with Sylvester Stallone.

Jackie Chan has a son, Jaycee Chan, who was born on 3rd December 1982. He also has a daughter, Etta Ng Chok Lam (b. November 19, 1999), with actress and former Miss Asia Elaine Ng.

A drunken Jackie Chan jumped on stage with Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jonathan Lee in July 2006 and exchanged insults with the audience. He demanded a duet with Lee and then tried to conduct the band but stopped and restarted the music several times.

Jackie appears in a Diet Pepsi commercial that premiered during Super Bowl XXXX (2006). He is also an endorser for Hanesbrands Hanes underwear.

Jackie describes himself as being a shy person who has to be taken out of his shell.

Says the most painful of all the injuries he has sustained in his career happened on Enter the Dragon, when Bruce Lee accidentally hit him in the face with a nunchuck.

Some of his favorite films include Gone With the Wind (1939), Singing in the Rain (1951), and The Matrix (1999).

Jackie is also a talented singer. He has released numerous albums in Asia. His music is normally heard in the outtakes of his Hong Kong movies.

He worked with Bruce Lee and John Woo as a stunt coordinator.

His role models are Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Harold Lloyd, all of which were more important to him as a child than any martial arts star, the latter label he was basically forced into at a very young age.

He sang the Chinese version of Mulan's "I'll Make a Man Out of You".

His parents worked at the French embassy in Hong Kong. His father Charles was an embassy cook while her mother Lee-Lee was an embassy maid. They then moved to Canberra, Australia and his father worked as head chef in the American Embassy there. Jackie lived with them for a while after one of his attempts in the movie business fell through.

In his action scenes, his punches and kicks actually connect with their targets. He has his actors wear special padding in their feet and body to prevent serious injury.

He was a spokesmodel for the "Got Milk?" campaign.

Most often Jackie dubs his own voice for the English release of his Asian films. He also dubs his Asian films in Mandarin.

Not only does he do his own stunts, but Jackie is a lead-from-the-front kind of guy and expects the actors and actresses in his movies to do their own stunts as well.

Due to an accident while shooting the movie Armour of God, Jackie now has a hole in his skull.

Jackie is married to former Taiwanese actress Lam Fung Giu (in Cantonese) or Lin Feng Chiao (in Mandarin).

He is known to Chinese audiences as Sing Lung (Cant.) or Cheng Long (Mand.), which means "Already a Dragon" or "To Become (like) a Dragon".

After his marriage, a young female fan commited suicide. After this incident, Jackie decided to keep his private life out of the public spotlight.

Before becoming a big action star, Jackie Chan had a minor role in the Bruce Lee film Enter the Dragon as a guard.
