Willistead Manor

In 1921, Willistead was deeded to the town of Walkerville for preservation. The Friends of Willistead was founded to help preserve and restore the Manor. The Friends, through community events, raise funds to continue the restoration and furnishing, and also serve as docents for Manor tours.

The manor a 36-room mansion nestled in a 15 acre park. Designed by Albert Khan to reflect 16th Century Tudor-Jacobean architecture, it was built with the ingenuity of 20th century amenities.
