Breeders Assistant is our flagship pedigree software program for breeders of cats, dogs, horses, birds, rabbits, rats, rare breed sheep/goats/cattle and many other animals. Includes fully customizable printed pedigrees, text pedigrees, image pedigrees, HTML pedigrees, even circular pedigrees. Also many features for linechasers, kennel/cattery management and comprehensive record keeping. It comes in carefully tailored versions - e.g. Breeders Assistant for Cats has specific support for CFA, TICA, GCCF and FIFe breeders. Likewise Breeders Assistant for Dogs has support for AKC, CKC, UKC, FCI and UK Kennel Club breeders.

Why are Pedigree Assistant & Breeders Assistant the premier pedigree programs?
Breeders Assistant & Pedigree Assistant are pedigree software products of Tenset Technologies Ltd, a company based in Cambridge, UK (est. 1989). Whilst these are British products, they also contain many options specifically for our friends in North America - e.g. American spelling option; Breeders Assistant also includes CFA/AKC/TICA etc breed lists, breed numbers, show entry forms, etc.
Data Conversion - both Breeders Assistant & Pedigree Assistant can convert your data from many different formats, including CSV, XML, ANIM-ALL, BreedMate (via CSV or XML), Compuped (v4) and Kennel Club Breed System (KCBS v4).

We believe in open pedigree data exchange - we do not lock you in to our products by preventing you from extracting your data in any useful form. We provide data export in both CSV (text file) and now XML using the Open Pedigree Software Group standard.

Pedigrees - we believe our pedigree software has the best and most configurable printed pedigrees and image pedigrees (JPEG, PNG, BMP) - featuring photos, watermarks (with inbuilt fading), calligraphic text, decorative artwork for borders and corner graphics, sideways-on text, your choice of fields - completely configurable, customize all colors, boxes & fonts etc.
Breeders Assistant also includes HTML pedigrees, trial mating pedigrees, litter pedigrees, reverse pedigrees, circular pedigrees, web pedigrees, emailable pedigrees and web pedigree databases (pedigree generator).
Population Genetics: both programs have very fast calculation of Wright's inbreeding coefficient. Pedigree Assistant computes this to 20 generations, Breeders Assistant to 40 generations and more.
Breeders Assistant has a vast range of Reports available including ancestor and descendant analyses, text pedigrees (to 16G), reverse pedigrees, breeding lists and more.
Breeders Assistant pedigree software also prints your show entries*, litter registrations, contracts/agreements, pedigree front pages (cover sheets), stud cards & more. Use its powerful database to store all your animal details, contacts, show records*, litters, vet records, vaccinations, accounts and even appointments/tasks.
Breeders Assistant has many powerful genetics tools not generally available in other breeder pedigree programs e.g. prediction of genotypes (coat color genetics, carried traits + diseases via simulation of Mendelian genetics), calculation of inheritance probability of specific genes, modelling of polygenic traits, and various statistical analyses. It also optionally includes detailed coverage of both color genetics and disease genetics of most breeds of cat & dog. Canine genetics: we cover over fifty of the most common breeds(***), including over seventy congenital defects. Feline genetics: we support over thirty five of the most common breeds(****), including over thirty congenital defects where the mode of
inheritance is known.
