England Under-17 midfielder Jamie O'Hara has made the switch to Tottenham from Arsenal and TheFA.com caught up with his manager at international level, John Peacock, to find out a little bit more about the player who has boldy gone where few have gone before.

"He came with us to Italy last year to play in an international tournament and he did very well for us," explains Peacock.

"Jamie is an excellent passer of the ball who keeps possession well and provides that important link between the defence and attack. He keeps things simple and, being a left-footer, has that bit of extra quality.

"He also has a good attitude and is a good character to have around the squad."

"He'll join up with another of our Under-17 players at Spurs, [right back] Phil Ifil. I am in regular contact with Peter Suddaby [Academy Director] at White Hart Lane so I'll be able to monitor their progress well."

With players of the quality and promise of James Milner (Leeds United), Steven Taylor (Newcastle United) and Luke Moore (Aston Villa) all in Peacock's thoughts, the England Under-17 coach is understandably excited about the forthcoming UEFA European Championship Qualifiers which take place in March.

"We've been drawn against Scotland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia so it should be a good set of games.

"At the moment, we're looking to tie up all the training and accommodation details before we travel out to Greece for a friendly on February 19.

"That will be the last opportunity for Paul [Bracewell, Under-17 Asstistant coach] and I to have a look at the players before we name our final squad for the qualifiers."
