The Missouri Health Sciences Psychology Consortium offers a full time (not less than 40 hours /week), one-year appointment beginning on July 1 and ending on August 31. Interns accrue one full year (at least 2080 hours) of supervised psychological experiences. Unpaid, part-time, and mid-year positions are not available.

The HSTMVA offers funding allocated by the Veterans Administration of $22,898, paid in biweekly installments, and health insurance options. In addition, HSTMVA employees accrue annual and sick leave hours with each pay period. The amount accrued varies with length of federal employment, and annual leave typically amounts to 4 hours of annual leave per pay period. Interns receive authorized paid educational leave as deemed appropriate for professional activities. In addition, interns access Federal Holidays as scheduled.

The HSTMVA provides malpractice coverage, convenient parking, and access to the HSTMVA and University of Missouri Medical libraries. Interns use the University Fitness Center at the student fee rate.
