Be sure and
share all your pictures!
Then, either post them to your own webpage and send the link to
the MOGenWeb Carroll County Webpage Webmaster so she can post
the link here AND/OR email the pictures to the webmaster (or snail mail a CD of
them;
email
the webmaster for the snail mail address) so we can all see Carroll County
today, too. Planning a trip? Suggested Pictures: Places, headstones, cemetery
entrances, houses, farms, persons (especially groups of people,
i.e. family groups at reunions), etc. You can also take
pictures of documents (be aware of copyright laws) such as old
wills, marriage bonds, land records, etc. Also, if you get
photocopies of old wills, marriage bonds, land records, etc. you
can scan them into a file which can be posted here OR better
yet, transcribe the document and save to a file which can be
posted here.
When emailing pictures to the
webmaster (cable connection so file size is not a problem) if
you can size them in the range of 1024 x 768 or 640 x 480
(keep them in proportion to the image you took) it will cut
way down on editing time once they arrive.
If you are making the trip to
Carroll County (or live in the area) and are willing to take
pictures requested by those who can't make the trip OR are
willing to do some lookups at the Library or Court House, let
the webmaster know so that information can be on the lookup
page.
If you live in the Carroll County
area or are making a trip there and are willing to take some
specific pictures to enhance the MOGenWeb Carroll County
webpage, please

your own research which resides on your own webpage or at
another website such as Rootsweb.com's "Ancestry World Trees"
- just submit the link to the
Webmaster. You can submit information you have found
while doing your own research or you can submit information
you extract from County Records, etc. (Please be respectful of copyrights
and copyright law**.)
