SLAYER: 'Unholy Alliance Tour' DVD Preview Available - Oct. 30, 2007
The live video clip for SLAYER's 2007 Grammy-winning track, "Eyes Of The Insane", from the "Unholy Alliance Tour" DVD, will be LIVE on MySpace TV beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31 — Halloween — at 12:00 midnight PT/3:00 a.m. ET.

You can watch it below.

The "Unholy Alliance Tour" DVD is in stores today, October 30. The 90-minute program features last year's Unholy Alliance Tour lineup, which was hailed as "the heaviest, darkest metal tour of the summer, if not the year" — SLAYER, the undisputed kings of speed metal/thrash, and the "future of heavy metal contenders" — LAMB OF GOD, MASTODON, CHILDREN OF BODOM and THINE EYES BLEED.

The "Unholy Alliance Tour" DVD/CD was shot at Vancouver's General Motors Place on July 13, 2006, was directed by Adam Rothlein (Speedway Films), and boasts performance footage plus bonus material to include backstage, behind-the-scenes and one-on-one interviews, many of which were conducted by the Unholy Alliance artists themselves.

SLAYER's "Eyes of the Insane", which took home a Grammy Award this year, is included on the DVD. Other selections on the DVD include LAMB OF GOD's "Vigil", MASTODON's "Blood & Thunder", "Capillarian Crest", and "Crystal Skull", CHILDREN OF BODOM's "Angels Don't Kill" and "In Your Face", and SLAYER's "Angel of Death", "Dead Skin Mask", "South of Heaven", and "Antichrist", among others.

"Unholy Alliance Tour" DVD (cover artwork) track listing:

01. SLAYER - "South Of Heaven"
02. SLAYER - "Silent Scream"
03. SLAYER - "Blood Red"
04. SLAYER - "Cult"

SLAYER recently wrapped up a North American co-headline concert tour with MARILYN MANSON. The dates were in support of the band's new release, a special limited edition of "Christ Illusion", which hit stores July 24. The next edition of the worldwide Unholy Alliance Tour will kick off late 2008.

There is only one LoG song because American is putting out the DVD and Epic didn't want another label putting out a bunch of their material....

Anyways, the footage is bad ass, everyone was good....the interviews in the bonus features are funny (especially the won where Brann from Mastodon interviews Dave Lombardo)

If you are a Slayer fan...BUY THIS DVD!!!!!!!

too bad only one LoG performance, they definitely brought the most energy to that tour. Love mastodons records but they really don't bring that much energy live (except brann). Plus their live vocals are 10x worse than on their records. Slayer owns your balls.

Slayer are god. none can even come close to coming to the shear power and intensity of their music. sure, some of the lyrics have gotten kind of cliche and old but Slayer are metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE HELL SATAN

This is horrible. The track list sucks. Talk about picking some new and/or played-out Slayer songs and the two worst Bodom songs ever.

Uh, Why would I only want a few of each band's songs?

MASTODON rules.
