Host Cindy Piccoli demonstrates two methods of making ordinary poster prints look like vintage masterpieces using simple methods.

Unique Crumpled Look

Materials:

poster print
Mod Podge
brown acrylic paint
sponge brush
lint-free cloth

Steps:

  1. Crumple print into a wad being careful not to tear the edges. Smooth out onto a flat surface.
  2. Create a mixture of one part Mod Podge to three parts brown acrylic paint and brush onto poster. With a cloth, rub paint mixture into cracks and crevices and wipe off excess. Repeat this process several times allowing paint mixture to dry between applications.
  3. Seal with several applications of Mod Podge alone.

Brush Strokes

Materials:

Crafter's Pick Brush Strokes
artist's brush
poster print

Steps:
  1. Load brush with brush strokes medium and paint over original artist's strokes. This medium will go on white but dries clear.
  2. Two or three applications may be necessary for desired dimension.
