Somascan Fathers Elect Superior General

ROME, MARCH 7, 2008 (Zenit.org).- The Somascan Fathers and Brothers, meeting in Rome, elected a new superior and vicar general to lead the order.

Some 34 Somascan religious met in Rome last week for the order's 136th General Chapter. They elected the current vicar general, 50-year-old Father Franco Moscone, as superior general.
