BESUT, Wed:

Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang is giving the greenlight to "hurl accusation, backstab and expose" the lows of Barisan Nasional candidates.

In just 10 days, Pas attacks on BN and Umno has hit below the belt with the latest accusation.

Abdul Hadi was remembered for calling journalists 'kera dan tupai' (monkeys and squirrels) during the 2004 general election campaign.

In Kuala Besut on Tuesday night, Abdul Hadi did not mince his word when he asked party candidates to accuse and expose corrupt practices of BN and Umno.

"It is allowed in Islam. This move will ensure that the party which wins the March 8 polls is clean and free from corrupt doing," Abdul Hadi said in a 'ceramah'.
He said it will also help voters to punish those who are guilty of such wrong-doings.

Abdul Hadi claimed the Cristal Mosque at Pulau Wan Man was an example of how money not well spent.

"The people should be allowed to perform Friday prayers at the mosque. But this is not happening. It's a waste of money," he added.

Abdul Hadi was campaigning to promote Pas Besut parliamentary candidate Datuk Hussin Awang, who will be contesting against Datuk Dr Abdullah Mohd Zin in the general election.
