SWIFTAlliance Gateway

Single window on all SWIFTNet services, streamlining operations, increasing security and resilience.

SWIFTAlliance Gateway extends your SWIFTNet connection to multiple applications and multiple SWIFTAlliance interfaces (such as SWIFTAlliance WebStation and SWIFTAlliance Access). Acting as a concentrator for SWIFTNet message flows, it provides streamlined operations, enhanced security, cost reduction and increased resilience.

Benefits

Single Window to all SWIFTNet communications:
All SWIFTNet message flows can be concentrated through one interface. This includes applications connected via WebSphere MQ, and also those designed for linking to SWIFTNet Link or based on SWIFTAlliance WebStation.

Increased security:
SWIFTAlliance Gateway becomes the sole software that accesses SWIFTNet directly over SWIFTNet Link. Installing it between two firewalls (the so-called demilitarised zone or DMZ) improves operational security.

Increased resilience:
You may require that your applications be able to use more than one SWIFTAlliance Gateway either permanently, for performance reasons, or alternatively, for resilience reasons. Depending on the design of the application, switching traffic from one path to the other can even be fully automated. This is the case for SWIFTNet FIN traffic handled by SWIFTAlliance Access and Entry, for example.

Cost reduction:
By using the SWIFTAlliance Gateway as a global concentrator, the single window is extended to the network interface level. Using a single SWIFTNet Link licence together with the easier management of the SWIFTNet infrastructure provides significant cost reductions.
