Support your candidate and see who's winning with the Yahoo! News Election '08 Candidate Badge. More than just a button with a pretty political face, the Yahoo! News badge compares candidates across Pledged Delegates, Poll Averages, Yahoo! Buzz and Money Raised - the four key metrics that power our Political Dashboard. You also can check out the latest Election '08 headlines at Yahoo! News. Just pin the button on your your MySpace blog or personal web page. Then start digging into the numbers!
1. Choose a Candidate
Getting the badge is easy. Within the badge on the right, click on the "CHOOSE A CANDIDATE" button. Next, select a candidate from the pop-up menu that appears.
2. Copy to Clipboard
Once you select your candidate, just click on "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" and then paste the code into your personal blog or page. Your candidate button of choice will be pinned onto your personal web page, and remembered on this page as well. That's when the fun begins.
3. See Who's Winning
The front of the badge shows whom you support. But click on "SEE WHO'S WINNING," and then select from the pop-up menu how to compare candidates nationally: Poll Averages, Pledged Delegates, Yahoo! Buzz and Money Raised.
Once your button is on your personal page, you won't need to update it. But if your candidate drops out or you switch allegiance, you can just his "RESET" to easily swap candidates.
