Ten aspiring actors chosen from small towns of India come together on SAB's brand new show 'Acting ki Funshaala'. The participants are ordinary people with an unshakable passion to make it big in the world of comic acting. The winning pair of actor and actress will get to star in a movie that will telecast on SAB. This new comic reality show will be aired on Fridays at 8:00 pm from 1st February 1, 2008.

The show has been conceptualized in the format of an acting school and will train the aspirants through a series of hilarious tasks that are meant to be serious. TV veteran Annu Kapoor will be the Principal of Acting ki Funshala. Model Aparna kumar is the naughty and strict warden, while Sanjeev Kumar plays the friendly teacher. A peon played by Pradeep Raghunath completes the Funshaala. There is no SMS voting and the participant's performance will be judged by Celebrity judges.

For 13 weeks the contestants will learn the nuances of comedy acting from celebrity judges and the faculty of Acting Ki Funshala. Living in the same house, the contestants would be under scrutiny 24x7 by the hidden cameras. Their unshakable enthusiasm and endurance will be tried and tested as they train to become the next big comic star.
