  • Group of Twenty (G-20)
    The G-20 is a group of 19 of the world's largest economies and the European Union. The G-20 is an informal forum that promotes open and constructive discussion between industrial and emerging-market countries on key issues related to global economic stability.
  • G-77 at the United Nations
    The Group of 77 is an intergovernmental organization of developing states in the UN. It provides the means for the countries of the South to articulate and promote their collective economic interests and enhance their joint negotiating capacity on all major international economic issues within the United Nations system, and promote South-South cooperation for development. There are now 130 member states (including Saudi Arabia), although the name G-77 was retained because of its historical significance.
  • Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
    Promotes coordination and international cooperation between Member States (United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait) to strengthen member states' economy, finance, trade, customs, tourism, legislation, administration, as well as scientific and technical progress in industry, mining, agriculture, water and animal resources, establishing scientific research centres, setting up joint ventures, and encouraging cooperation of the private sector.
  • Islamic Development Bank
    "The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is a Multilateral Development Bank (MDB), established to foster the economic development and social progress of its member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries in accordance with the principles of Shari'ah (Islamic Law). There are 56 member countries (including Saudi Arabia).
  • League of Arab States (In Arabic, English site under construction)
    Established in 1945, the Arab League has 22 members (including Saudi Arabia). The Arab League promotes the political, economic, cultural, and social interests of member states.
  • OPEC - Saudi Arabia
    The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is a permanent, intergovernmental Organization made up of 12 developing nations whose economies rely on oil exports.
